Abstract:
A receiver that can receive several initial signals modulated in a same initial frequency band and/or distinct initial frequency bands and generate a signal modulated in a transmission band to be transmitted on a coaxial cable, comprising a selector that can select several signals from among the received signals; for each selected signal, a mixer capable of transforming the selected signal into a signal at least partly in the transmission band, and a filter capable of extracting from the transformed signal a signal associated with a portion of the transmission band from among several at least partly distinct portions of the transmission band; and means for forming the signal modulated in the transmission band from signals associated with the transmission band portions.

Abstract:
A method for initializing a control device of a memory, the control device executing commands for accessing the memory transmitted to the memory by a control signal, the method comprising steps of detecting the switching on of the memory and of at least partially initializing the control device following the switching on of the memory. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises steps of detecting a specific event in the control signal, and of at least partially initializing the control device following the detection of the specific event.
Abstract:
Integrated inductive device comprising a central loop arranged between two outer loops mutually coupled to the central loop so as to form two patterns roughly in the form of an eight having a common portion corresponding to said central loop.
Abstract:
A mode-switching transformer comprising a first line in common mode and a second line in differential mode, each line comprising two sections in series respectively coupled with one of the two sections of the other line and all sections having the same lengths, the common mode line being connected in series with a capacitor, to lower the central frequency of the transformer passband, the λ/4 lengths of the sections being chosen to correspond to a central frequency greater than the central frequency desired for the transformer.
Abstract:
A system for transmitting data includes a transmitter module, a receiver module and a channel provided with a flow control link between the transmitter and receiver modules. The channel provides a first control signal from the transmitter module to the receiver module, and a second control signal from the receiver module to the transmitter module for initiating data transmission. The transmitter or receiver module includes a synchronizer for synchronizing the first and second control signals.
Abstract:
A method of storing data in a memory circuit of an Aho-Corasick type character recognition automaton recognizes character strings by implementing successive transitions in a tree of nodes stored in a memory. Each node corresponds to a state of the automaton and to a recognition of a sequence of the character string. Each node is associated with a transition vector serves to determine the destination node or nodes of a transition. For storage of the data, a test is performed to find out whether transition vectors point to common destination addresses. The transition vectors are combined if the addresses to which the vectors point are separate by formulating a combination vector and the nodes are stored at the memory addresses pointed at by the combination vector.
Abstract:
A device controls access to a data memory includes secured memory areas and receiving read or read/write-access commands. The device also includes a storing unit for storing a plurality of attributes, and a reading unit for, reading an attribute corresponding to a secured memory area at which an access command is aimed. The attributes are saved in a dedicated area of the data memory, and the device comprises a synchronous attribute search circuit arranged for intercepting the access command, when an access command is sent to the data memory, reading in the data memory the attribute corresponding to the secured memory area at which the intercepted access command is aimed, then applying the access command to the data memory.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a circuit for detecting an overload in a load supplied by a switched-mode power supply, comprising: a first comparator of a first voltage based on the supply voltage of the load relative to a first threshold, supplying a regulating signal to a pulse generator controlling the switched-mode power supply; a second comparator of a second voltage relative to a second threshold, supplying a signal indicating the presence of an overload; and means for automatically controlling said second voltage by a third threshold lower than the second and higher than the first, and for deactivating the second comparator as long as said automatic control is maintained.
