Abstract:
The present disclosure is directed to a rotation assembly for a transfer member of a transfer assembly. The rotation assembly comprises a torque transmitting assembly comprising input and output members, a link comprising a first end operably coupled to the input member and a second end comprising a follower member, a shaft comprising a first end operably coupled to the output member and a second end engaged with a portion of the transfer member, and a track. The follower is movably engaged with the track and circumnavigates about a path in correspondence with the track. The follower member is moved radially relative to a first rotation axis by the track as it circumnavigates about the path to transmit torque through the torque transmitting assembly and to the shaft. The torque causes a portion of the transfer member to rotate between a first position and a second position.

Abstract:
The present disclosure is directed to a method of applying a fluid pressure to a portion of a transfer member of a transfer assembly. The transfer member rotates about a first rotation axis and comprises leading and trailing portions. The portion of the transfer member is rotatable about a second rotation axis between a first position and a second position. The method comprises providing a fluid conduit in fluid communication with the leading or trailing portion of the portion of the transfer member when the portion of the transfer member is in the first position, rotating the portion of transfer member between the first position and the second position, and maintaining the fluid conduit in fluid communication with the same of the leading or trailing portion of the portion of the transfer member after the portion of the transfer member is moved into the second position.
Abstract:
A machine for processing elements in sheet form, the machine having chainsets which move gripper bars for moving sheet elements through the machine. At least one tensioner device generates a tension force in the chainsets. The chainset tensioner device includes a drive member capable of generating a variable force, having an intensity dependent on the instantaneous production rate of the machine. Chainset wear is greatly reduced, and the life of the chainsets is lengthened considerably.
Abstract:
In the course of a method for handling a workpiece having at least one through-opening, at least one suction element and the workpiece are placed against each other to form a suction chamber. A vacuum is generated in the suction chamber in order to fix the workpiece and the suction element to each other with a holding force for subsequent manipulation of the workpiece. The workpiece and the suction element are fixed to each other with a holding force by at least partially providing at least one through-opening of the workpiece opening into the suction chamber with a covering in order to reduce the flow of air through the through-opening to the suction chamber after the vacuum has been generated. A workpiece handling system is used to carry out the above-mentioned method.
Abstract:
Method and apparatus for transferring articles from a first carrier moving at a first speed to a carrier moving at a second speed. The apparatus may include a first transfer surface driven by a first motor and second transfer surface driven by a second motor. The first and second transfer surfaces receive and transfer different portions of an article at different speeds such that a desired amount of spacing can be provided between discrete articles in a process independent of the size of the article.
Abstract:
A transfer apparatus of a line end of a folder-gluer for cardboard boxes includes a transfer bed (1) with a double, opposite array of transmission belts (C1a, C1b, C2a, C2b) which define a transfer track for the displacement of flattened, folded boxes, wherein the transfer bed (1) is oscillatingly mounted about a horizontal axis (a-a′) on a U-shaped support structure (21, 22, 24) which is in turn rotatingly mounted according to a vertical axis (b-b′) on a base frame (26), the rotation according to the horizontal axis (a-a′) and according to the vertical axis (b-b′) occurring through a first (M1) and a second (M2 M2′) motor, respectively.
Abstract:
In a method for depositing a flat object dropping freely into a lower compartment, a wall of the compartment at an angle in relation to a vertical is used as a flat deposit point for a flat side of the flat object. During passage of the flat object into the lower compartment an angular momentum is imparted to the flat object such that an angle of incidence between the wall and the flat side of the flat object is minimized.
Abstract:
An apparatus for positioning packing boxes relative to a covering sheet comprises a belt for conveying the sheet from a gluing unit to a device for centering the box on the pre-glued sheet and optical sensors for identifying the position of the sheet on a belt conveyor surface, the belt being made with at least two regions of the conveyor surface having contrasting colors.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a conveying and stacking device for corrugated boards, which is used in a conveyor of a corrugated board production line to stack corrugated boards by a specified number and comprises an exhaust facing the downstream of the conveyor and a sucker arranged at the upstream of the exhaust and facing the procession of the corrugated boards. The sucker and the exhaust are arranged in an elevator for elevating the corrugated boards and respectively suck air and exhaust air simultaneously.
