摘要:
There is described a method for processing bundles (5) of securities, in particular banknote bundles, during production thereof, the method comprising the steps of (a) processing stacks of sheets (SS), each carrying an array of multiple security prints arranged in a matrix of rows and columns, into successive sets (2) of consecutive bundles (5) of securities arranged side-by-side, (b) forming at least one intermediate pile (8; 8*) of consecutive bundles (5) by placing the consecutive bundles (5) of a set (2) one on top of the other, and (c) successively ejecting bundles (5) one-by-one from a bottom of the said at least one intermediate pile (8; 8*) and conveying each ejected bundle (5) with a determined spacing from a preceding and/or following ejected bundle (5). There is also described a bundle processing system to carry out the above method.

An apparatus for forming bundles of printed products includes a lift element that moves vertically inside a holding area. The printed products are deposited on the lift element when the lift element is in an upper position. The lift moves the deposited printed products downward into the holding area so that the printed products are in position to subsequently be compressed into a bundle by pressing the printed products with an upward movement against a pressing element. The lift transports the compressed bundle to a lower position in the holding area where the lift element moves out of the holding area to a position in which the bundle is released to drop onto a support element. The lift element thereafter is moveable from the lower position to the upper position for the depositing of additional printed products. An ejection element conveys the compressed bundle out of the holding area.

A transfer apparatus of a line end of a folder-gluer for cardboard boxes includes a transfer bed (1) with a double, opposite array of transmission belts (C1a, C1b, C2a, C2b) which define a transfer track for the displacement of flattened, folded boxes, wherein the transfer bed (1) is oscillatingly mounted about a horizontal axis (a-a′) on a U-shaped support structure (21, 22, 24) which is in turn rotatingly mounted according to a vertical axis (b-b′) on a base frame (26), the rotation according to the horizontal axis (a-a′) and according to the vertical axis (b-b′) occurring through a first (M1) and a second (M2 M2′) motor, respectively.
摘要:
An apparatus for a forming bundle composed of at least one layer of printed products includes a lift, wherein an area above the lift constitutes a holding space to accommodate the at least one layer. The lift is adapted to lower the at least one layer. A control unit is connected to control movement of the lift. A thickness determining device is coupled to the control unit and arranged to determine a thickness of the at least one layer. The lift is controlled to be lowered corresponding to a previously determined thickness of a layer to accommodate a following layer of a bundle or to accommodate a layer of a following bundle.

A preliminary stacking device (22) is arranged above the stacking shaft (12) of the stacking apparatus (10). This device has a preliminary stacking shaft (24) to which sheet-like products (30) are fed by way of the feed means (28). A number of sheet-like products (30) is stacked in each case on base elements (50) to form an intermediate stack (20), whereupon the intermediate stacks (20) are transferred to the stacking shaft (12). A number of base elements (50) are arranged one behind the other along a circulatory path (51), a working portion (85) of the movement path (51) of the base elements (50) running vertically through the preliminary stacking shaft (24). While an intermediate stack (20) is being formed on one base element (50), the base element (50) arranged beneath discharges a previously formed intermediate stack (20) to the stacking shaft (12).

A disk stacker system for delivering selectively inverted substrate assemblies into a receiving tray. By alternating inverted with non-inverted substrate assemblies or otherwise grouping inverted and non-inverted substrate assemblies, handling of folded printed material is made more efficient and packing of the folded printed material is made more dense and efficient. The disk stacker system operates by delivering selected substrate assemblies directly to the output tray and bypassing the disk stacker inverting apparatus and by delivering other substrate assemblies to the disk stacker apparatus for inversion prior to delivery to the output tray.

The invention proposes a stack (50) of supple and absorbent sheets, for example made of cellulose wadding, which comprise a longitudinal fold line (22) forming a longitudinal border (28) and at least one transverse fold line (30) perpendicular to the longitudinal fold line (22), characterized in that the longitudinal (22) and transverse (30) fold lines of an upper folded sheet (36) in the stack are not adjacent to the respective longitudinal (22) and transverse (30) fold lines of the previous lower folded sheet (36).
摘要:
Newspapers and other printed matter fed from a printing press or inserting machine are generally folded or delivered in a continuous stream with the papers oriented in an overlapped or imbricated relationship. The stream of papers are received and stacked by the stacking apparatus or stacker which must operate at high speeds. The stacker orients the papers in the stacks and ejects the bundles of papers. The present invention relates to devices intended to reduce the prospects for inadvertent interference with the stacking mechanism or to reduce the potential for injury.
摘要:
A machine and method is disclosed for stacking product, including but not limited to, cardboard, magazines, newspapers, newspaper supplements, flyers, press signatures, and softcover books. The stacking machine includes an infeed assembly for receiving a product stream or flow. The infeed assembly includes a belt jogger assembly for aligning and distributing product as it enters the machine. A transport assembly delivers product from the infeed assembly to a stacking assembly.
