A system, method and computer program product for product that enables users of broadcast messaging systems to more expediently and efficiently find communities, both for subscribing and for sending messages. The system, method and computer program product provides an end-user with the ability to send messages for delivery to more targeted communities of messaging users. In this aspect, the system and method determines one or more attributes of messaging activity associated with one or more communities of users communicating messages in a messaging system; and, displays via an interface, a graphical representation of the attributes and inter-relationships between the attributes. The user may then select via the interface a recipient community for receiving a message to be sent based on the graphical representation displayed.

A system and method is directed to obtaining information from a mobile vehicle within a mobile vehicle communication service. The method provides creating a mobile vehicle contact list based on an information request, determining a time period to transmit the mobile vehicle contact list and the information request, transmitting the mobile vehicle contact list and the information request to the mobile vehicle at the determined time period, and receiving the information from the mobile vehicle, at a specified time, based on the information requested. The system further provides means for creating a vehicle contact list based on the information request, means for determining a time period to transmit the mobile vehicle contact list and the information request, means for transmitting the mobile vehicle contact list and the information request to the mobile vehicle at the determined time period, and means for receiving the information, at a specified time, from the mobile vehicle based on the information requested.

A method of operating a radioterminal can include receiving at the radioterminal over a wireless air interface a broadcast message that includes region information that defines a geographic region of applicability. A determination is made at the radioterminal whether the radioterminal is located in the region of applicability. A functional mode of the radioterminal is activated in response to the radioterminal being in the region of applicability. The functional mode may include activating a user interface of the radioterminal.

MMS messages are sent to a set top box for display on a television receiver (7). The MMS messages can be routed from a message centre (MMSC1) through a digital broadcasting network (4) to the STB. The messages can be directed to one of a number of individual message addresses associated with the STB. Also MMS messages can be multicast to individual addresses from a group service provider (9).

A system for reproducing contents in a different device conveniently in use while protecting a copyright of digital contents includes a contents recording and transmission device, a reception and reproduction device, and an external storage medium having an ID. The external storage medium is connected to the reception and reproduction device. The ID is transmitted to the recording and transmission device, and ascertained. Then contents are delivered. The external storage medium has a list of contents stored therein. In the case where the contents are recorded in a plurality of devices, only a device to which the external storage medium is connected is made to be capable of reproducing the contents. A contents reproducing function is implemented as a program in a component form.
