Abstract:
A device and method for scanning an object on a working surface, the device comprising: a body located adjacent to the working surface; two or more cameras mounted on the body at a location elevated adjacently above the working surface for capturing images of the object on the working surface, the two or more cameras being angled such that their range of image captures overlap and the common overlapping region of the range of image captures of the two or more cameras corresponds with the size of the working surface, the two or more cameras being spaced apart such that each of the two or more cameras captures a different angle of the common overlapping region; and a processing unit capable of correcting skewed images of the working surface captured by the two or more cameras and capable of converting the images captured by the two or more cameras into a three dimensional image.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a magnification device for use by blind and/or low vision individuals. The device includes an X-Y table upon which an item to be magnified can be placed. A stationary camera arm and a pivotal monitor arm are oriented over the X-Y table. The monitor arm includes a video monitor pivotally mounted at its distal end. The camera arm also includes two laterally disposed lighting arms. A series of controls are provided along a lower edge of the monitor via a mounting bracket.
Abstract:
An electronic device stand includes a fastening member fastenable to an installation plane. An elongated member is connected to the fastening member. A mount member is connected by the elongated member to the fastening member. The mount member includes mechanical mounting structures configured to mount plural types of electronic devices.

Abstract:
The notebook computer includes a base and an upper cover. The base has a keyboard. The upper cover includes a screen, an image pickup device and a close-up lens. The upper cover is rotatable with respect to the base such that the image pickup device is able to capture an image of a document on a working plane. After the document image is obtained by the image pickup device, a built-in image processing program performs correction on the document image so as to obtain a corrected document image.
Abstract:
An image sensor support device comprising a foot assembly releasably coupled with respect to a base and an image sensor mount rotatably coupled with respect to the foot assembly. The image sensor mount is rotatably secured to an elongated stem assembly and the stem assembly is rotatably secured to the foot assembly.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a document processing device with picture-taking, video and audio recording, scanning and projecting functions, which mainly is including a set of base composed of a left and a right base bodies, a vertical rack bar able to be insert-put on the left and right base bodies, a horizontal rack bar pivot-connected on top of the vertical rack bar, a main machine body pivot-set in the vertical rack bar elements. The said main machine body has an optical lens and is set with a microphone and a light compensator. The device of present invention can be provided for putting the ordinary document data on the base. The data on the documents can be transformed into editable files by utilizing the optical lens inside the main machine body to take the pictures and through the recognizing software. Furthermore, it can record the audio or video in accordance with selected action processes through the main machine body. Simultaneously, the main machine body can further provide for connecting externally with the computers to proceed the image projecting. Due to that it has versatile functions, is small in volume and easily dissembled and is able to be receive-laid inside the base for convenient carrying, it thus obtains the optimum practical values.
Abstract:
A closed circuit video magnification system, incorporates a base, upon which the operating components of this system mount, a platform mounted upon the base for shiftable movement both laterally and depth-wise, in the X-Y directions, pivotal mount a LCD screen for projection and viewing of any matter scanned upon the shiftable platform, or of any other images that are detected and picked up by the miniature camera, also incorporated into the structure of this system. The miniature camera is also mounted upon shiftable arms, for scanning downwardly towards the platform, or which can be pivoted vertically, or circularly, in order to view any scene provided in the surrounding area, and which is capable of being picked up by the lens of the camera, for processing and projecting onto the screen, for viewing by the handicapped person. Controls are provided for regulating the amplification, reduction of size, brightness, and contrast, in addition to its on/off control.
Abstract:
A digital photo frame (DPF) includes a main body, a supporting member, a holding member, and an image capturing member. The main body includes a storage unit and a display unit. The supporting member is connected to the main body for receiving a paper printed photo. The holding member is rotatably connected to the main body. The image capturing member is mounted on a bottom surface of the holding member. When the holding member is kept in an open position, the image capturing member is activated to capture an image of the paper printed photo received in the supporting member, and the captured image of the paper printed photo is transmitted to be stored in the storage unit and to be displayed on the display unit.
Abstract:
A zoom dial mechanism includes a zoom dial mounted on a base plate so as to extend through a central hole of the base plate and so as to be turnable, a coil spring mounted on the base plate to urge the zoom dial toward a neutral position, and a push knob mounted in a central hole of the dial. The base plate has a groove concentric with the central hole. The coil spring is mounted in the groove. The mechanism further includes a first rib fixed to the dial so as to abut one end of the coil spring and a second rib fixed to the dial so as to abut the other end of the spring. The spring is compressed by the first rib when the dial is turned clockwise, and the coil spring is compressed by the second rib when the dial is turned counterclockwise.
