Abstract: A lintel system for supporting masonry blocks above an opening in a structure includes a lintel configured to span a width of the opening. The lintel includes a single spanning member having a top edge, a bottom edge, and a side face extending between the top and bottom edge. Supports are disposed at longitudinal ends of the single plate member. A stiffener is attached to the lintel for reinforcing the lintel. The stiffener extends in opposed relation to the side face along at least a portion of the side face.

Abstract: Methods and systems for use of a three dimensional measurement laser are disclosed. An example method can comprise receiving, at a laser measuring device, an article (e.g., a flooring article) having a plurality of faces, the article being conveyed in a direction. At least a portion of a first face and a second face of the plurality of faces of the article can be irradiated with a laser of the laser measuring device to measure one or more profile dimensions associated with the first and second faces of the article. The measured profile dimensions associated with the first face and the profile dimensions associated with the second face are compared to predefined reference dimensions. In response to a difference between measured profile dimensions associated with the first face and the second face and the predefined reference dimensions exceeding a threshold value, the article can be determined to be defective.

Abstract: Systems and methods for loading and delivering stalk subassemblies and yarn packages are disclosed herein. Such systems and methods can have at least one processor, at least one automated guided vehicle, at least one creel assembly, and an automated creel loading assembly. The at least one automated guided vehicle can be communicatively coupled to the at least one processor. The at least one processor can be configured to selectively direct an automated guided vehicle to engage a respective stalk subassembly. Upon engagement between the automated guided vehicle and the stalk subassembly, the processor can be configured to selectively direct the automated guided vehicle to move about and between the selected operative position within the creel assembly and a loading position proximate the automated creel loading assembly.

Abstract: Thermally-isolating wall anchors and reinforcement devices and anchoring systems employing the same are disclosed for use in masonry cavity walls. A thermally-isolating coating is applied to the wall anchor, which is interconnected with a wire formative veneer tie. The thermally-isolating coating is selected from a distinct grouping of materials, that are applied using a specific variety of methods, in one or more layers and cured and cross-linked to provide high-strength adhesion. The thermally-coated wall anchors provide an in-cavity thermal break that severs the thermal threads running throughout the cavity wall structure, reducing the U- and K-values of the anchoring system by thermally-isolating the metal components.
