    摘要: A polymer composition includes a first host polymer, which is a copolymer of (meth)acrylamide and at least one cationic first monomer, and a second polymer, which is a copolymer of (meth)acrylamide and at least one cationic second monomer. The second polymer is polymerised in presence of the first host polymer, and the first host polymer has a higher cationicity than the second polymer, the difference in cationicity of the first host polymer and the second polymer being at least 3 mol-%, at least 5 mol-%, more preferably at least 7 mol-%. The polymer composition has a standard viscosity of >2.0 mPas, measured at 0.1 weight-% solids content in an aqueous NaCl solution (1 M), at 25° C., using Brookfield VII T viscometer with UL adapter. The invention relates also to uses of said polymer composition.

    摘要: According to the present invention, a polymer is provided capable of obtaining a graft polymer having a high graft ratio while having a low degree of crosslinking, a graft polymer having a high graft ratio, which is suitable as a material of a thermoplastic resin composition capable of obtaining a molded article excellent in impact resistance, surface appearance, and thermal stability, and a thermoplastic resin composition capable of obtaining a molded article excellent in impact resistance, surface appearance, and thermal stability. A polymer obtained by polymerizing a mixture containing an (Aa) component and an (Ab) component is used.The (Aa) component is an acrylic acid ester.The (Ab) component is a branched polyfunctional compound having two or more allyl groups, and all carbon-carbon double bonds contained in the polyfunctional compound are derived from the allyl groups.

    摘要: A method of preparing a block copolymer of Formula (B) wherein P1 represents a substantially aqueously soluble polymeric component and P2 represents a substantially aqueously insoluble polymeric component, comprises admixing an aqueously soluble polymer macro-chain transfer agent comprising P1 with a monomer (M2) and initiating an aqueous dispersion-type radical addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerisation. (P1) is derived from a monomer (M1) selected from monomers of the Formulae (M1A), (M1B) and/or (M1C) where R1, R10 and R11 represent a substituent of (M1A) or (M1C) which allows P1 to be at least partially aqueously soluble, R2 represents H, CH3 or CN, RS represents one or more substituents of the aromatic ring effective to allow P1 to be at least partially aqueously soluble, and monomer M2 is selected from: where R3 is a substituent of (M2) which allows P2 to be substantially aqueously insoluble, and R4 and R6 independently represent H or methyl.

    摘要: The invention provides particle compositions having applications in nucleic acid analysis. Nucleic acid polymer particles of the invention allow polynucleotides to be attached throughout their volumes for higher loading capacities than those achievable solely with surface attachment. In one aspect, nucleic acid polymer particles of the invention comprise polyacrylamide particles with uniform size distributions having low coefficients of variations, which result in reduced particle-to-particle variation in analytical assays. Such particle compositions are used in various amplification reactions to make amplicon libraries from nucleic acid fragment libraries.

    摘要: The invention relates to the use of polymers based on acrylamidopropylmethylenesulfonic acid (AMPS) and macromonomers as crystallization inhibitor for plant protection formulations. The polymers inhibit crystallization of the pesticidal active substances (herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, acaricides, bactericides, molluscicides, nematicides and rodenticides) present in the plant protection formulations. The use in the case of emulsifiable concentrates (EC) and suspension concentrates (SC) is particularly advantageous.
