Abstract:
A method for the fabrication of a field-effect transistor wherein after forming a semiconductor layer serving as an active layer on a substrate, the substrate temperature is set at no higher than 100° C., a gate insulating film is formed on the semiconductor layer. Then, the gate insulating film is heat treated in an atmosphere containing water. By heat treating in the atmosphere containing water, OH bonds in the vicinity of the insulating film interface are reduced and, therefore, the CV characteristic thereof is improved.
Abstract:
A developing device includes a developer bearing member, and a developer container for containing a developer. The developer container includes a developer containing portion, a partition member dividing an interior of the developer containing portion into a plurality of rooms, and a cover for covering the developer containing portion, wherein the partition member is molded integrally with the cover. The partition member is disposed in parallel with a longitudinal direction of the developer bearing member and extended to form a gap between the partition member and a bottom surface of the developer containing portion throughout an entire length of the developer containing portion in a longitudinal direction of the developer bearing member. The developer containing portion includes a rib disposed in a direction intersecting the partition member and wherein the partition member includes a groove disposed in a direction so as to avoid intersecting the rib.
Abstract:
A double-row angular contact ball bearing is provided with inner and outer rings, balls in two rows, a cage for holding the balls, and non-contact sealing devices made of a substantially disc-like member. Radial outer end portions of a metallic sealing device are respectively fit and swaged into grooves arranged at both axial end portions of the outer ring's inner circumferential surface. The ratio Ts/Tr is equal to or lower than 0.07, where Ts is the sealing device thickness and Tr is the outer ring thickness at the bottom portion of the groove. In addition, the ball diameter is equal to or greater than 75% of a half a bearing width to equal to or greater than 83% thereof. Furthermore, an axial width Tc of the radial outer end portion having a substantially U-shape is equal to or smaller than 2.7 mm.
Abstract:
A sewing machine that includes a processor, a plurality of detection devices that is configured to be capable of changing mounting positions and configured to detect an ultrasonic wave, and a memory that is configured to store computer-readable instructions that instruct the sewing machine to execute steps comprising, identifying, when a first ultrasonic wave transmitted from a transmission source of the ultrasonic wave is detected by the detection devices, a position of the transmission source of the first ultrasonic wave, based on information relating to the detected first ultrasonic wave, and controlling sewing based on the identified position of the transmission source of the first ultrasonic wave.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for estimating, within a short time, the life of a cable insulating coating material containing an antioxidant in a suitable concentration based on the rate of decrease of the antioxidant and on the critical concentration of the antioxidant at which oxidative degradation rapidly proceeds. The method tests the coating material to examine its life, the coating material including a base polymer, and an antioxidant having a functional group suppressing an oxidative deteriorative reaction of the base polymer. The method includes performing a thermal degradation test on the coating material; determining the degradation levels and degradation rates of the coating material at two or more time points in the thermal degradation test, based on the ratio of the absorbance of the functional group of the antioxidant to the absorbance of the base polymer; and thereby evaluating the life of the coating material.
Abstract:
An information processing device includes a processor and a memory. The memory is configured to store computer-readable instructions. The instructions instruct the information processing device to execute steps including randomly arranging a plurality of embroidery patterns within a coordinate area set in an embroidery frame that is moved in two directions.
Abstract:
A sewing machine includes a sewing portion, a detector, a processor, and a memory. The sewing portion includes a needle bar and a transport portion. The needle bar is configured to have a sewing needle on a lower end. The transport portion is configured to move a work cloth. The detector is configured to detect ultrasonic waves. The memory stores computer-readable instructions that instruct the processor to perform specifying a position of a transmission source of the ultrasonic waves based on the ultrasonic waves that are detected by the detector, specifying sewing information based on the specified position of the transmission source, the sewing information being information that pertains to sewing, and controlling the sewing portion based on the specified sewing information.
