    摘要: An ultralight coaxial dual rotor helicopter having a substantially L shaped frame. Attached to the back of the frame is a vertical shaft engine, and a pair of yaw paddles for controlling yaw of the craft. The drive shaft connects to a belt drive at the top of the frame, which transmits the engine power to a transmission and coaxial drive gear for driving the rotors. Crank actuators are provided for tilting the rotor axis to control the pitch and roll of the craft. A pilot seat and ballast tank are attached to the front of the frame. The ballast tank may be filled with a volume of water to balance the craft for the weight of the pilot. The fuel tank is located behind the pilot seat on the centerline of the helicopter, such that as fuel is used and the weight of fuel in the tank changes, the balance of the craft will not be affected.

    摘要: A sound emitting device for providing at least one new sonic or subsonic frequency as a by-product of emitting a waveform of at least two ultrasonic frequencies whose difference in value corresponds to the desired new sonic or subsonic frequency. The device includes a parametric emitting perimeter or plurality of emitter segments positioned around a central open section. This open section is structured with a diagonal width greater than a cross-sectional diagonal of the parametric emitting perimeter. An ultrasonic frequency signal source and sonic/subsonic frequency generator are coupled together to a modulating circuit for mixing an ultrasonic frequency signal with an electrical signal corresponding to the at least one new sonic or subsonic frequency. The modulator output is coupled to the emitting perimeter which comprises ultrasonic frequency emitting material for propagating the mixed waveform into air for demodulating the waveform to generate the at least one new sonic or subsonic frequency.

    摘要: The present invention is embodied in a method and apparatus for eliminating audio feedback which includes an active microphone coupled to an amplifier which transmits signals received at the active microphone to a parametric speaker to generate a feedback controlled signal for broadcasting. The apparatus may also be adapted for use with an audio system wherein the invention comprises (i) at least one transducer for detecting at least one sonic frequency and generating an electrical signal representative of the at least one sonic frequency, (ii) a processor for receiving the electrical signal and generating a first ultrasonic frequency which has been modulated with the at least one sonic frequency, (iii) a parametric demodulator for recovering the at least one sonic frequency from the first ultrasonic frequency, and (iv) a speaker for directly emitting the recovered sonic frequency as a feedback controlled audio emission.

    摘要: An ear piece device configured for being supported in the ear and providing a microphone which primarily detects only sounds originated by the user is contained within a housing which is configured at one end to fit snugly at the ear canal of the user, but not to extend within the ear canal. A microphone element is coupled within the housing in a position such that the microphone element is separated from contact with the skull of the user by the housing. This microphone element is contained within a case which is mechanically and acoustically isolated from vibrations occurring within the housing. A support gasket formed of acoustical absorbing materials is interposed around the microphone case forming a bridge between the housing and the microphone case and contained active element. This gasket includes an outer perimeter in contact with the housing and an inner perimeter which defines two separate circumferential points of contact at the microphone case which are respectively equidistant from and on opposing sides of a plane which includes the active element to provide cancellation of residual vibrations passing to the microphone element from the housing. A speaker element may be included within the ear device and can be decoupled acoustically so as to avoid feedback. This system can operate with full duplex and enable hands free communication and direct voice command by user through computer modems, telephone networks and other communication systems.

This signal is supplied to an audio circuit for processing and reproduction of the user's voice. A speaker element may be included within the ear device and can be decoupled acoustically so as to avoid feedback. This system can operate with full duplex and enable hands free communication and direct voice command by user through computer modems, telephone networks and other communication systems.

The switching unit is designed to be used in sales showrooms or similar environments where it is desired to demonstrate several different combinations of audio subsystems. The switching unit permits any one subsystem of a first group, typically source subsystems such as turntables, tuners, and tape-decks, to be connected to any one subsystem of a second group, typically amplifier subsystems. The switching unit further permits the subsystem of the second group to be connected to any one subsystem of a third group, typically speaker subsystems. The selection of the particular subsystems from each group may be controlled by a hand-held remote selector, thereby allowing the user thereof to walk around the showroom floor as the various selections are made.

The structure includes a housing formed with a bottom wall and side walls and having an opening at the top thereof. The bottom wall has an opening centrally located therein. Also included is a lamp socket disposed in the housing so that the socket opening may receive the base of a lamp bulb through the opening in the bottom wall. Smoke detection circuitry is also disposed in the housing about the lamp socket. The circuitry includes an audible sound producing mechanism and a detector element responsive to the presence of smoke thereat for causing the sound producing mechanism to produce audible sound. The circuitry is powered alternatively by a rechargeable battery or by the current supplied to the lamp bulb.
