Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a power supply system (1) including a main unit (10) including a protective main housing (11) and a distribution circuit (20) disposed in the protective main housing (11); a first module unit (30a) including a first protective module housing (31a) and a first electric module (40a) disposed in the first protective module housing (31a). The system also includes a passive cooling system (70) for cooling of the main unit (10) and the first module unit (30a). A first protective connection system (CS1) and a second protective connection system (CS2) is also a part of the system, wherein the first protective connection system (CS1) is configured to provide a releasable electrical and mechanical connection between the main unit (10) and the first module unit (30a). The passive cooling system (70) includes cooling fins (71) disposed on an outer surface of the first protective module housing (31a).

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an electric circuit system. The system includes a housing, a printed circuit board mounted within the housing, an electric component conductively mounted to the printed circuit board, and a cooling system for transferring heat away from of the electric component. The printed circuit board is compartmentalizing the inside of the housing into a first compartment and a second compartment, and the electric component is situated in the first compartment. The cooling system includes at least one first heat transferring element located adjacent to the electric component. The at least one first heat transferring element is secured to the housing surrounding the second compartment capable of forming a heat flowing path defined to transfer heat from the electric component to the housing via the at least one first heat transferring element.

Abstract: A method of testing a rechargeable battery (4) connected to a DC bus (5) of a converter (11) of a power supply system (10) including a control system (12) for controlling power transfer between a power source (2), the rechargeable battery (4), and a load (3) connected to the DC bus (5) is provided. The method includes: setting a test discharge current (I4d) and a test end voltage (Vend) for the rechargeable battery (4) to be used during the test; at a first point in time (T0), starting a test run measuring a current (I4) from the rechargeable battery (4) and a voltage (V4) over the rechargeable battery (4); at a second point in time (Tend), when the V4 becomes equal to the Vend, terminating the test run; and registering the time period elapsed between T0 and Tend as a measure of the status of the rechargeable battery (4).

Abstract: An electric multimode power converter module includes an AC/DC converter, including a first AC port; a DC/AC converter, including a second AC port; a DC/DC converter, including a DC port; a controller; and a communication bus interconnecting the converters. The controller includes a hardware configuration port and sets the module in the following states, based on the value read from the configuration port: a first state in which the module transfers power between the first AC port and the DC port, a second state in which the module transfers power between the DC port and the second AC port, and a third state in which the module transfers power between the AC ports and the DC port. A power supply system includes a shelf device including at least one compartment, and an electric multimode power converter module as mentioned above is inserted in the at least one compartment.
