    摘要: A light-shielding device for a single lens reflex automatic focus camera in which the focus detecting element is normally covered by a shielding plate. The protecting plate is coupled along one edge thereof to a shaft while the end is coupled to one end of an operating lever. The other end of the operating lever is coupled through a U-shaped spring to a mirror operating lever of the camera wherein the U-shaped spring provides a snap action upon release of the shutter curtain which quickly moves the shielding plate to its uncovered position.

    摘要: A display device for a camera in which both an electrical focus detecting and indicating device and an exposure meter or automatic exposure control device are incorporated into a single display element provided in the view finder of the camera. Switching means is coupled to receive on input contacts thereof signals representing both a focus indication and a shutter speed. Normally, the display device displays information in response to the focus detection and indication signal. When the shutter button of the camera is depressed to a first position, the switching means is changed over to display the shutter speed. The display device may be implemented either by an array of LED display elements or a liquid crystal display element.

    摘要: A three-dimensional image capturing device comprises a light source and an imaging device, such as a CCD, having a plurality of photo-diodes. The light source outputs a pulsed distance measuring light beam simultaneously with a discharge of unwanted charges from the photo-diodes due to an electric charge discharging signal. A reflected light beam, generated by a measurement subject due to the distance measuring light beam, is received by the photo-diodes. When a predetermined time has elapsed since the output of the distance measuring light beam, an electric charge transfer signal is output so that electric charge, i.e. signal charge accumulated in each of the photo-diodes, is transferred to the vertical transfer unit. The electric charge and the electric charge discharging signal are repeatedly output, so that the signal charge is integrated in the vertical transfer unit. Numbers of the electric discharging signals and the electric charge transfer signals are adjusted such that a level of the signal charge has a proper value.

A detector detects an optical image formed by the encoded symbol and outputs a signal corresponding to the optical image. The threshold values are also stored in memory and are obtained by detecting an optical image formed by a surface having a predetermined color.

    摘要: A computer system includes a computer and a peripheral device. A communication cable, used to connect the peripheral device to the computer, has a first cable, a second cable and a patch unit. The first cable encloses a set of power lines and a set of data lines, and the second cable encloses a set of data lines. The patch unit includes a socket with first and second contacts. In the patch unit, the sets of data lines of the first and second cables are connected. One of the power lines is connected to the first contact, and another of the power lines is connected to the second contact. The first cable connects the patch unit with the peripheral device, and the second cable connects the patch unit with the computer. When power is applied from an external source to the first and second contacts, the power is supplied from the first and second contacts to the peripheral device.
