    摘要: A three-dimensional image capturing device is provided with a CCD which captures an image of a subject as image data and obtains the distance from the device to a point on a surface of the subject corresponding to each of the image data as distance measurement data. The device obtains the distance to the subject by emitting a light beam to the subject and performing a light emitting operation and electronic shuttering operation of the CCD in tandem. In the operations, each photo-diode in the CCD detects the electric charge signal corresponding to the distance to the subject. The distance measurement data is calculated from the electric charge signal detected by each photo-diode of the CCD. The image data and the distance measurement data are stored in a file or files created in a recording medium so as to maintain correspondence between the image data and the distance measurement data.

    摘要: An electronic still video camera has an electro-developing recording medium. As soon as an optical image is formed on the medium, the image is recorded and developed as a visible image therein. The developed image is electronically read as image data by a line sensor, and the read image data may be stored in an IC memory card, a floppy disk, a hard disk or the like. Optionally, the read image data may be transferred from the camera to an external device such as a computer, a TV monitor or the like. The developed image can be thermally erased from the medium by using an electric heater. When one of: the formation of the optical image on the medium is carried out; the reading of the image data from the developed image of the medium: and the erasing of the developed image from the medium is carried out, the remaining operations are enabled.

    摘要: A luminance signal generating device having two CCDs on which complementary color filters are provided. Each color filter includes a matrix arrangement in which color filter elements for passing magenta, green, yellow and cyan light are arranged in a regular manner. If a first field is read from the CCDs, magenta (Mg) and Green (G) pixel signals of odd-numbered rows are read from the first CCD, and yellow (Ye) and cyan (Cy) pixel signals of even-numbered rows are read from the second CCD. If a second field is read from the CCDs, yellow (Ye) and cyan (Cy) pixel signals of even-numbered rows are read from the first CCD, and magenta (Mg) and green (G) pixel signals of odd-numbered rows are read from the second CCD. Four pixel signals (Mg, G, Ye, Cy) from optically adjacent pixels are added to each other to obtain a luminance signal.

    摘要: An exposure controlling apparatus provided for an electronic still camera using an imaging device, such as a CCD, controls an exposure with high accuracy even if a low-accuracy external photometric device or a low-accuracy diaphragm mechanism is used. The apparatus includes a first photometric component for metering the brightness of a subject and outputting a first photometric value, and automatic setting component for automatically setting either an aperture value or a shutter speed, depending on the first photometric value, an imaging device having matrix light receiving elements for effecting photoelectric conversion, and an electronic shutter for controlling charge accumulation time, depending on the set shutter speed. A diaphragm component adjusts a bundle of incident rays on a light receiving surface of the imaging device so a set aperture value will be attained, and a second photometric device effects the preliminary photography at an aperture value and shutter speed set by controlling the electronic shutter and the diaphragm component. The total amount of charges accumulated in all, or a predetermined number, of the light receiving elements of the imaging device are detected, and a second photometric value is outputted that is proportional to the total amount of charge. A shutter speed correcting device is provided for correcting exposure error.

    摘要: An automatic focus detecting device for a camera comprises a lens system having an image plane for focusing light transmitted along a light path, at least one self-scanning type photoelectric converting device including a plurality of charged storage type microphotoelectric elements disposed in a microphotoelectric element row at a position corresponding to the image plane of the lens system, and a scanning circuit for the microphotoelectric element row for detecting the state of focus of the image of the object to generate a photoelectric output, and at least one light detector for monitoring the incident light and including a charge storage type photoelectric element provided near and in the same plane as the microphotoelectric element row for storing a quantity of charge in correspondence to the quantity of incident light, the self-scanning type photoelectric converting device having a charge storage time which is controlled according to the quantity of charge stored in the light detector in correspondence to the quantity of incident features. Further features of the invention include the provision of a contrast detecting circuit for providing peak values of photoelectric output differences between two of the microphotoelectric elements, and a focus judging circuit for providing a focus indication signal when the absolute value of the difference between the two contrast signals is lower than a predetermined focus detection threshold level. Still further features of the invention include the provision of a focus effective region judging circuit, a focus indication circuit, a light splitter, and a contrast compensation circuit.
