Abstract:
A plurality of devices for preventing creases and wrinkles in articles of clothing best suited for hanging onto the horizontal arm, or the side arms of a clothes hanger and in combination of the two, that connects to, and disconnects from the horizontal arm of the clothes hanger, and quickly and efficiently becomes two devices that connect to, and disconnect from the two side arms of the clothes hanger via a fitting adjustment in the center of the device. The plurality of devices can be reinstalled and used again on the horizontal arm as a single device without compromising the integrity of the functionality of the device. A plurality of fitting Adjustments occur at each end of the device producing a longer length than the horizontal arm of the clothes hanger, and thus allowing installation onto horizontal arms and side arms varying in length resulting from differently manufactured clothes hangers.
Abstract:
The medium (9), such as water, of a container (10), such as a fuel cell accumulator, is kept above freezing by a hydrogen/oxygen catalytic combustor (13) fed hydrogen from a source comprising a mechanical thermostatic valve (25) in thermal communication (26) with the container (10) and connected to a hydrogen supply (28). The combustor may comprise an ejector (32) having hydrogen through its primary inlet (31) drawing air through a secondary inlet (33). The combustor may comprise a diffusion combustor having a catalyst (38) spaced from a heating surface (30) and a diffusion control plate (40) low partial pressure of oxygen at the catalyst causing diffusion through the barrier. Water vapor from combustion condenses on a surface (146) and is led by hydrophilic woven carbon paper (126) to wicking material (133), which has smaller pores than the carbon paper, which leads the water downwardly, through a disk (140) and plugs (147) to atmospheric air. The noble metal catalyst mixture includes TEFLON® to permit water generated by combustion to flow by gravity out of the catalyst.
Abstract:
A receptacle box installer includes an L-shaped element with a first arm and a second arm, a block attached to an inside surface of the first arm of the L-shaped element, and a gap between a side of the block closest to the second arm of the L-shaped element and the second arm of the L-shaped element. A user then inserts the second arm of the L-shaped element into a receptacle box until the gap is filled with an outside wall of the receptacle box. A surface of the block opposite the connection with the first arm of the L-shaped element is contacted with a front surface of a framing member. The receptacle box is then contacted with the framing member. A user then attaches the receptacle box to the framing member using standard attachment means. Once the receptacle box is installed on the framing member, the receptacle box installer is removed from the receptacle box.
Abstract:
The present invention is a novel gel-phase colorant dispersion comprising (a) a gel-phase colorant comprising the reaction product of (1) a reactive material component, (2) a reactive colorant, and (3) a crosslinker having reactive groups capable of forming a bond with the reactive material component and the reactive colorant; and (b) a dispersion medium, wherein the dispersion medium can be an aqueous or non-aqueous-based dispersion. The gel-phase colorant dispersion of this invention can then be mixed or blended with typical coating materials. This invention is also directed to a method of preparing coating compositions comprising a binder phase of an aqueous or non-aqueous-based dispersion and a gel-phase colorant dispersion, and in particular, a method comprising the steps of (1) preparing at least one gel-phase colorant dispersion comprising a gel-phase colorant comprising a reaction product of (a) a reactive material component, (b) a reactive colorant, and (c) a crosslinker having reactive groups capable of forming a bond with the reactive material component and the reactive colorant; dispersed in a dispersion medium; and (2) mixing or blending the gel-phase colorant dispersion with typical coating materials. The coating composition can also comprise one or more independent gel-phase colorant dispersions. This invention is also directed to a process for achieving a multicolor faux finish pattern on a surface utilizing a gel-phase colorant dispersion-based one-pack multiphase coating composition. This invention is also directed to a two-layer coating system comprising a topcoat and an undercoat, wherein the topcoat is a waterborne dispersion comprising a gel-phase colorant dispersion comprising a gel-phase colorant comprising a reaction product of: (1) a reactive material component, (2) a reactive colorant, and (3) a crosslinker having reactive groups capable of forming a bond with the reactive material (a) component and the reactive colorant; and (b) a dispersion medium and wherein the undercoat is a waterborne dispersion comprising one or more highly water-absorbent pigments.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a platform suited for use in dual camera, stereoscopic digital cinema. The fixture may have a base, a first convergence plate and a second convergence plate. The base may be mounted to a tripod, steadicam, crane, boom or other device for supporting a platform used in stereoscopic cinematography. The base may have two platforms attached to each other via a linear slide. The convergence plates may be attached to the respective platforms via an XY slide.
Abstract:
Photoresist compositions are provided with a silicon-containing component and an added sulfonic acid component. Preferred resists of the invention also contain a non-hydroxylic solvent such as propylene glycol methyl ether acetate as the primary or sole solvent. Preferred resist compositions of the invention can exhibit enhanced stability during storage between manufacture and use.
Abstract:
A battery powered fishing line bite detector alarm producing visible and/or audible alarm signals is disclosed. An arm, installed within the alarm, integrally connects to a modified leaf on-off switch. The alarm attaches to a fishing rod in front of a fishing reel mounted on the rod. Fishing line is threaded into the arm and adjusted such that slack is provided between the rear of the alarm and the front of the reel thereby allowing forward arm movement. The fishing line is further inserted until desired resistance of forward and backward line movement within the arm is achieved. Applied tension to the line forces the arm to actuate. A tension spring clip connected to a switch lever, and a common leaf contact arm, pulls contact arm closer to an upper common contact point until contact is made activating the alarm signals. Increased tensioning pulls the line through a variable sized slit and into a line hole, releasing tension on the arm and causing the contact arm and contact point to break contact, while allowing the arm to return to a self-adjusting alarm casing position.
Abstract:
A module for a printing composition delivery system of a printing device that is a separable unit from the printing composition delivery system is disclosed. An embodiment of the module includes a printing composition supply station connector, a printing member connector, and a flexible conduit. The printing composition supply station connector is releasably attached to a printing composition supply station of the printing composition delivery system and has a coupler fluidly connectable to a printing composition supply of the printing composition supply station. The printing member connector is releasably attached to the printing device and has a coupler fluidly connectable to the printing member. The flexible conduit includes a first end fluidly connected to the coupler of the printing composition supply station connector and a second end fluidly connected to the coupler of the printing member connector to supply printing composition from the printing composition supply to the printing member. The module may additionally include a housing covering a portion of the coupler of the printing member connector and enclosing a portion of the flexible conduit adjacent the printing member connector. The printing composition supply station connector, the printing member connector, the flexible conduit, and the housing, if present, are a separable unit from the printing composition delivery system. A method of installing and removing the module is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A break-open firearm where the frame and the barrel assembly are locked in place by a sliding top lock. A top lock lever is pivotally connected to the gun frame and is operatively connected to the top lock by a helical coil spring which biases the top lock forwardly into locking position when the top lock lever is moved in a direction which decreases the diameter of the coil spring. Other embodiments of the invention provide for the helical coil spring to be connected to the frame and to the top lock lever and to the frame and the top lock. In each case, the result is that the helical coil spring is the instrument to bias the top lock forward.
