Abstract:
A set of decision activities can be provided to a business process management and design software tool. The tool can be used to define various processes that contain one or more activities linked by transitions. During process design time, a business analyst can identify process-relevant data of the process to be presented to the end users. The relevant data can be rendered to the end users at runtime, along with a set of possible options for the activities in a process instance. Upon receiving a decision of the user, the process instance can follow the selected transition to a different activity. Over time, the system can capture the decisions taken by users and enter the data associated with these decisions into a data classifier. In doing so, the software tool can generate suggestions, provide probabilities, automate and distribute workloads, flag abnormalities and deviations and generally improve process design and management.
Abstract:
A control system for regulation balls in a football field and regulation ball support for same is provided. The system has ball supports arranged in a football field, a central control unit and a portable electronic device. Each ball support has presence sensors for detecting a football in a supporting base and data processing means for wirelessly communicating information from the presence sensors to the central control unit. The central control unit monitors the presence of footballs in each ball support and repeatedly sends, wirelessly, the results from the monitoring to the portable electronic device, which graphically shows on a screen the presence or absence of footballs in the corresponding ball supports.

Abstract:
A single device having a display manager that dynamically controls dual unique output formatting for multiple displays. The display manager detects changes made in configuration files having configuration instructions representing formatting instructions for each of the displays. Detected changes are dynamically processed by the display manager to alter, in real time, formatting of content being rendered on the displays.
Abstract:
Antennas, antenna systems, and components used in antenna systems are provided herein. In various examples, an integrated antenna for receiving signals for a plurality of functional modules in a computing device may include a first plurality of antenna elements for receiving signals at wireless communication frequencies and a second plurality of antenna elements for receiving signals at wireless charging frequencies. The first and the second pluralities of antenna elements may have at least one common antenna element, which may be coupled to one or more of the second plurality of antenna elements using at least one low-pass filter. The at least one common antenna element is de-coupled from one or more of the plurality of functional modules operating at the wireless communication frequencies using at least one high-pass filter.
Abstract:
Methods for curing ink printed on a print medium are disclosed. The methods comprise heating air to a temperature suitable for curing the ink, and blowing the air through a plurality of holes onto the print medium.
Abstract:
Identification of objects in images. All images are scanned for key-points and a descriptor is computed for each region. A large number of descriptor examples are clustered into a Vocabulary of Visual Words. An inverted file structure is extended to support clustering of matches in the pose space. It has a hit list for every visual word, which stores all occurrences of the word in all reference images. Every hit stores an identifier of the reference image where the key-point was detected and its scale and orientation. Recognition starts by assigning key-points from the query image to the closest visual words. Then, every pairing of the key-point and one of the hits from the list casts a vote into a pose accumulator corresponding to the reference image where the hit was found. Every pair key-point/hit predicts specific orientation and scale of the model represented by the reference image.
