摘要： A motor includes: a motor element with a rotation shaft; a speed reduction element having a rotation speed reduction device for reducing a rotation speed and a gear housing for accommodating the reduction device; and a water proof sheet. The gear housing includes: an accommodation portion having a communication passage and an accommodation concavity; and a cover having a breathing hole. The breathing hole has a cover side opening, which connects to an accommodation side opening of the communication passage. An inside of the motor element is connected to an outside of the gear housing through the breathing hole and the communication passage. The cover seals an opening of the accommodation concavity. The water proof sheet having water proof property and gas permeability is disposed between the accommodation side opening and the cover side opening.

摘要： A brush holder of a motor is provided with a holder body portion and a connector portion, which are integrally formed from a resin. The holder body portion is installed in a yoke housing of the motor to hold a brush to be in slide contact with a commutator. The connector portion is connected with an external connector to energize an armature. A grounding terminal is embedded in brush holder to extend from the holder body portion to the connector portion to be connected to a grounding line of the external connector. A capacitor is installed on the holder body portion to connect a point on a power supply terminal between the connector portion and the brush to the grounding terminal.

摘要： A holder-side connecting portion 10c provided on a brush holder 10 and a connector-side connecting portion 16b provided on a connector portion 16 are electrically and mechanically connected with each other. The holder-side connecting portion 10c and the connector-side connecting portion 16b are clamped between a yoke housing 4 and a gear housing 21. For this reason, the connecting portions 10c and 16b for connecting the brush holder 10 and the connector portion 16 are prevented from being externally exposed. As a result, the insulation of the connecting portions 10c and 16b can be secured without complicating the construction of the connecting portions 10c and 16b by applying a special seal or the like to the connecting portions 10c and 16b.

摘要： A clutch including a drive shaft, drive side rotation body, driven shaft, driven side rotation body, clutch housing, and lock member is disclosed. During non-rotation of the drive side rotation body, when the driven side rotation body is rotated, the lock member is pushed by the driven side rotation body and moved outward in a radial direction thereby bringing the contact portion into contact with the inner circumferential surface of the clutch housing. During rotation of the drive side rotation body, the drive side rotation body pushes a drive side cam surface in the rotation direction, and the drive side cam surface acts to move the lock member inward in the radial direction and push the lock member against the driven side rotation body. Thus, the lock member is sandwiched between the drive side rotation body and the driven side rotation body thereby coupling the drive side rotation body and the driven side rotation body with the lock member to be integrally rotatable.

In the motor portion, a brush holder that holds a feeder brush for feeding electric power to a commutator is arranged at an opening of a yoke. The speed reducing portion has a speed reducing mechanism, which is arranged in a gear housing. The speed reducing mechanism outputs drive force produced by a rotary shaft of the motor portion with the rotating speed of the rotary shaft reduced by the speed reducing mechanism. A brush holder includes a support pillar projecting toward the gear housing and an urging member that urges the feeder brush against the commutator. A positioning portion for positioning the brush holder with respect to the gear housing in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction is formed at a distal end portion of the support pillar.

A range in which the output gear and the sector gear mesh with each other includes a normal operation range and a low speed operation range. In the normal operation range, the window glass is moved at a normal speed. In the low speed operation range, the window glass is moved at a speed lower than the normal speed from a near-fully closed position to a fully closed position of the window glass.
