    摘要: The present invention relates to a recording element intended for forming images by inkjet printing having very good colorfastness over time and a good ink drying time. Said recording element comprises a support and at least one ink-receiving layer, said ink-receiving layer comprising at least one hydrosoluble binder and at least one aluminosilicate polymer capable of being obtained according to a preparation method consisting in treating an aluminum halide with an alkyl orthosilicate only having hydrolyzable functions with an aqueous alkali in the presence of silanol groups, the aluminum concentration being maintained at less than 0.3 mol/l, the Al/Si molar ratio being maintained between 1 and 3.6 and the alkali/Al molar ratio being maintained between 2.3 and 3; and then stirring the resulting mixture at ambient temperature in the presence of silanol groups for long enough to form the aluminosilicate polymer; and then adding at least one aluminum chelating agent to the aluminosilicate polymer, the molar ratio between the chelating functions of the chelating agent and the aluminum of the aluminosilicate polymer being greater than or equal to 1.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for treating an inkjet recording element to improve the image quality of such an element. The method comprises the applying of a solution of an aluminosilicate polymer on said recording element, said aluminosilicate polymer being obtainable by a preparation method consisting in treating an aluminum halide with an alkyl orthosilicate only having hydrolisable substituents or with a mixture of at least one silicon alcoxide only having hydrolisable substituents and at least one silicon alcoxide having a non-hydrolisable substituent with an aqueous alkali in the presence of silanol groups, the aluminum concentration being maintained less than 0.3 mol/l, the Al/Si molar ratio being maintained between 1 and 3.6 and the alkali/Al molar ratio being maintained between 2.3 and 3; and then stirring the resulting mixture at ambient temperature in the presence of silanol groups for long enough to form the aluminosilicate polymer.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a material and a method for treating of photographic effluents in order to eliminate microorganisms and pollutant by-products so as to control bacterial growth and thereby obtain effluents that comply with regulatory requirements. The method for preparing an oxidizing material according to the invention comprises the dispersion in colloidal form of a metal or metal compound in an aqueous solution of an inorganic aluminosilicate polymer, said aluminosilicate being able to form an inorganic gel, and said metal or metal compound being able to cause the oxidation of oxidizable products and (or) micro-organisms to be eliminated, followed by the addition of a base to cause said aluminosilicate to gel. The metal is preferably silver in a powder form that is able to form a colloid when it is dispersed. The oxidizing material of the invention is efficient especially for the treatment of photographic baths, in particular wash baths placed after the fixing step.

The method consists in treating an aluminium halide, with an alkyl orthosilicate, with an aqueous alkali in the presence of glass or silica particles, letting the mixture ripen at ambient temperature, and then heating it at 96-98° C. for long enough for the reaction to go to completion. The conditions of synthesis of the aluminosilicate polymer are thereby improved.

    摘要: An inkjet receiver is described which comprises a support and one or more layer coated thereon, at least one layer of which comprises one or more metal organosilicate polymer particulate materials. The metal organosilicate polymer particulate materials are obtainable by contacting a metal salt with a silicon-containing compound having an organic substituent in an organic solvent, wherein either the silicon-containing compound contains a basic group and/or the reaction is conducted in the presence of a base, wherein the metal is selected from one or more of aluminum, magnesium strontium, calcium or zinc and the silicon-containing compound comprises hydrolyzable and non-hydrolyzable substituents such as to form a metal organosilicate polymer particulate material therefrom. The described inkjet receiver is useful for forming images by inkjet printing having excellent color fastness over time.
