Abstract: A chemical filter includes a first buffer layer, at least one first filter layer disposed on the first buffer layer and including a pair of first air-permeable bodies facing each other and at least one first adsorption layer between the pair of first air-permeable bodies, and a second filter layer disposed on the first filter layer and including a pair of second air-permeable bodies facing each other and at least one second adsorption layer between the pair of second air-permeable bodies, wherein the first filter layer is configured to be attachable to and detachable from the second filter layer.

Abstract: A method for reducing odor, by providing a colloidal dispersion of particles of silica having a particle size of from 3 nm to 100 nm, said particles having ions of one or more metals selected from copper, silver, zinc and iron adsorbed at the particle surface, and bringing at least one of said particles into contact with an odorous compound; and/or providing an aqueous silicate solution containing metal ions selected from ions of copper, silver, zinc and iron, and bringing at least one metal ion-carrying silicate particle formed in the solution into contact with an odorous compound. A composition for use in such a method and a product treated by such a composition.

An example method comprises providing a vessel containing a manifold system and an adsorbent, the manifold system comprising: a gas tubing, a filter disposed over openings in the gas tubing, a pressure relief valve, and an inlet coupled to the gas tubing and the vessel. The method further comprises introducing the gas into the manifold system via the inlet; circulating the gas in the gas tubing; flowing the gas through the openings in the gas tubing; and adsorbing the gas onto the adsorbent.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a process for capturing carbon-dioxide from a gas stream. In order to capture the carbon-dioxide, a support is provided and potassium carbonate (K2CO3) is impregnated thereon to form an adsorbent comprising potassium carbonate (K2CO3) impregnated support. The adsorbent is activated to form an activated adsorbent. The gas stream is passed through the adsorber to enable adsorption of the carbon-dioxide on the activated adsorbent to form a carbon-dioxide laden adsorbent. The carbon-dioxide laden adsorbent is transferred to a desorber for at least partially desorbing the carbon-dioxide from the carbon-dioxide laden adsorbent by passing a carbon-dioxide deficient stream through the desorber. The partially regenerated adsorbent is returned to the adsorber for adsorbing the carbon-dioxide from the carbon-dioxide. The process of the present disclosure reduces the overall energy demand by partially regenerating the adsorbent.

Adsorbent C: One or more kinds of compounds selected from a group consisting of oxides and hydroxides comprising at least one of magnesium, aluminum and silicon.

The system comprises a first fluid purification media comprising a rigid porous purification block. Abstract: Provided are a core material for a vacuum insulation panel including porous aluminosilicate, and a vacuum insulation panel provided with the same. The core material for the vacuum insulation panel according to the present disclosure has superior long-term durability and improved gas adsorption ability (particularly, superior water absorption ability) while requiring a low raw material cost. The vacuum insulation panel including the core material may exhibit more improved insulation performance by minimizing a reduction in the vacuum degree without an additional getter or absorbent.
