摘要: The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing an upgraded bio-oil derived from black liquor, comprising the following steps: —Providing black liquor, which comes from the pulp and paper manufacturing industry; —Subjecting black liquor to a pyrolysis treatment with formation of a pyrolyzed black liquor gas and a solid mass, which comprises char and salts; —Catalytic conversion of said pyrolyzed black liquor gas by contacting at least part of the latter with a bi-metallic modified zeolite catalyst with formation of the upgraded bio-oil, which comprises benzene, toluene, xylene (BTX), naphthalene and non-BTX products.

摘要: A system and method for converting natural gas to dimethyl ether (DME) are provided. An exemplary system includes a purified natural gas feed, a combustion chamber to combust a first portion of the natural gas to provide heat and an exhaust gas, and a separator to separate water and CO2 from the exhaust gas to form a first feed, a second portion of the natural gas forms a second feed. The system also includes a bi-reforming reactor comprising a bi-reforming catalyst to react the first feed and the second feed to form hydrogen and carbon monoxide, and a dimethyl ether (DME) reactor comprising a DME catalyst to form DME from the hydrogen and carbon monoxide.

摘要: Honeycomb bodies and methods for treating a honeycomb bodies that include a skin surrounding a matrix of cells, the skin and the matrix of cells comprising a porous inorganic material. Methods include applying a buffer solution to only the porous inorganic material of the skin and coating the porous inorganic material of the skin with an oxide slurry. The oxide slurry includes an oxide or a precursor of the oxide configured to increase the isostatic strength of the honeycomb body. After treatment, the honeycomb body may be dried.

摘要: Methods for limiting bleed-through of aqueous catalyst solutions in ceramic articles are described herein. The methods include applying a hydrophobic cellulose derivative, such as ethylcellulose, to an exterior surface of a fired porous ceramic article. The aqueous catalyst solution is applied to the fired porous ceramic article, such that the hydrophobic cellulose derivative limits bleed-through of the aqueous catalyst solution through at least a portion of the ceramic article. Ceramic articles with skins that limit bleed-through of aqueous catalyst solutions are also described herein.

摘要: A silica-alumina material, its preparation and application thereof are provided. The silica-alumina material has a SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio of 0.8-1.5, and has a lamellar structure with an average length of 0.5-2 μm and an average thickness of 30-80 nm, and its calcined form has a specific XRD pattern. The silica-alumina material has the characteristics of large pore volume, two-stage gradient pore channels of mesopores and macropores, as well as high B acid content as in molecular sieve, and shows crystal characteristics of a molecular sieve, and low impurity content, and thus is suitable for use as a carrier for catalytic materials, particularly a carrier for heavy oil hydrogenation catalysts.

摘要: Processes for converting a hydrocarbon reactant into an alcohol compound and/or a carbonyl compound are disclosed in which the hydrocarbon reactant and a supported transition metal catalyst—containing molybdenum, tungsten, or vanadium—are irradiated with a light beam at a wavelength in the UV-visible spectrum, optionally in an oxidizing atmosphere, to form a reduced transition metal catalyst, followed by hydrolyzing the reduced transition metal catalyst to form a reaction product containing the alcohol compound and/or the carbonyl compound.

摘要: A selective catalytic reduction catalyst for the treatment of an exhaust gas stream of a passive ignition engine, the catalyst comprising a porous wall-flow filter substrate comprising an inlet end, an outlet end, a substrate axial length (w) extending between the inlet end and the outlet end, and a plurality of passages defined by porous internal walls of the porous wall flow filter substrate; wherein the catalyst further comprises a first coating, said first coating extending over x % of the substrate axial length from the inlet end toward the outlet end of the substrate, x being in the range of from 10 to 100, wherein the first coating comprises copper and an 8-membered ring pore zeolitic material; wherein the catalyst further comprises a second coating, the second coating extending over y % of the substrate axial length from the outlet end toward the inlet end of the substrate, y being in the range of from 20 to 90, wherein the second coating comprises copper, and optionally an 8-membered ring pore zeolitic material; wherein the catalyst optionally further comprises a third coating; wherein x+y is at least 90; wherein y % of w from the outlet end toward the inlet end of the substrate define the outlet zone of the coated substrate and (100−y) % of w from the inlet end toward the outlet end of the substrate define the inlet zone of the coated substrate; wherein the ratio of the loading of copper in the inlet zone, Cu(in), calculated as CuO, relative to the loading of copper in the outlet zone, Cu(out), calculated as CuO, Cu(in):Cu(out), is less than 1:1.
