摘要: A bottoms cracking catalyst composition, comprising: about 30 to about 60 wt % alumina; greater than 0 to about 10 wt % of a dopant, measured as the oxide; about 2 to about 20 wt % reactive silica; about 3 to about 20 wt % of a component comprising peptizable boehmite, colloidal silica, aluminum chlorohydrol, or a combination of any two or more thereof, and about 10 to about 50 wt % of kaolin.

摘要: A method for chemically reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) with a red mud catalyst composition is provided includes introducing a gaseous mixture of CO2 and H2 into a reactor containing particles of the red mud catalyst composition. The method further includes reacting at least a portion of the CO2 and H2 in the gaseous mixture in the presence of the red mud catalyst composition at a temperature of 200 to 800° C., and under a pressure ranging from 5 to 100 bar to form a gaseous product including a chemical reduction product of the CO2. A volume ratio of the CO2 to the H2 in the gaseous mixture is in a range of 1:10 to 10:1.

摘要: Oligomer products are produced by reacting an alpha olefin and a vinylidene compound in the presence of a solid catalyst, such as a solid oxide or a chemically-treated solid oxide. Metallocene compounds, organoaluminum compounds, and BF3 are not needed to perform the reaction. Oligomer products formed by processes disclosed herein have a trimer:tetramer weight ratio of at least 2:1.

摘要: A silicon carbide porous body includes: (A) silicon carbide particles as an aggregate; and (B) at least one selected from the group consisting of metallic silicon, alumina, silica, mullite and cordierite. The silicon carbide porous body has amorphous and/or crystalline SiO2 or SiO on a surface(s) of the component (A) and/or the component (B). The silicon carbide porous body contains 6% by mass or less of α-cristobalite in the amorphous and/or crystalline SiO2 or SiO.
