Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of polymeric guanidine derivatives for the curative and/or preventive treatment of unwanted microorganisms such as bacteria and phytopathogenic fungi in crop protection including the treatment of seed. The invention furthermore relates to novel active compound combinations comprising at least one polymeric guanidine derivative and at least one further fungicidally active compound, their use for the curative or preventive treatment of unwanted microorganisms in crop protection including the treatment of seed and not least the treated seed itself.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of specific amphiphilic copolymers as synergistic adjuvant for agrotechnical applications. Suitable agrotechnical compositions are also described. Thus, the addition of such copolymers makes possible an accelerated uptake of active ingredients by the plant. The copolymers or salts thereof to be used comprise monomer units (i) based on at least one olefin and/or at least one vinyl ether, (ii) based on at least one ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid and/or at least one ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid derivative, and, optionally (iii) based on at least one further copolymerizable comonomer.
Abstract:
A solid crop protection composition consisting essentially of a) one or more predominantly amorphous crop protection active ingredients which are solid per se and have solubility in water of less than 500 mg/l at 25° C. and b) a coating enclosing component (a).

Oxime ether derivatives of the general formula IR.sup.1 R.sup.2 C.dbd.NO--CH.sub.2 --COOR.sup.3 Iwhere R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently of one another are each hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl or, together with the carbon atom to which they are bonded, are C.sub.5 - or C.sub.6 -cycloalkyl and R.sup.3 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, are used for bioregulation in plants.
Abstract:
The process for manufacturing pneumatic tires comprises as essential step the manufacture of a tire body by winding cords or cables (3, 23, 35). The cord or cable is withdrawn from a supply reel (7) under constant tension and laid around and anchored to the bead cores (2; 22; 36; 39) arranged at both sides of the tire. In addition a peripherally extending belt is applied which again can be formed by winding cords or cables, and the tire is completed by injection molding or die casting elastomeric material. An apparatus suitable for performing said process comprises in addition to an interior mold (1, 21, 38) two sets of outer molds, the first set allowing the shaping of an inner tire layer provided with protrusions serving as spacers for the winding of cables or cords and the second set corresponding to the external shape of the tire (FIG. 2).
Abstract:
Poly(thio) ethers having terminal amino groups, said ethers having the formula: ##STR1## wherein X is oxygen or sulfur and R stands for a group of the formula ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 to R.sub.4 represent hydrogen or halogen and B stands for a divalent polyalkylene ether group or a polyalkylene thioether group or mixtures thereof such as is obtained by removal of the hydroxyl or mercapto groups from a polyalkylene ether diol or a polyalkylene thioether dithiol of a molecular weight of 100 to 15000. A process for the production and application is also disclosed. These ethers are used in the production of poly ureas having increased thermal stability and improved tensile and structural strength.
Abstract:
Compounds having terminal amino groups and being of the general formula ##STR1## wherein z is an integer of 2 to 4, X is oxygen or sulfur and R is a group of the formula--Y--[Ar--B].sub.k (II)wherein k is an integer of 1 to 4,Ar is aromatic,When k = 1, Y is B and when k = 2 to 4 then Y is an akylidene group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms,B represents divalent polyalkylene ether or polyalkylene thioether such as it is obtained by removal of the hydroxyl or mercapto groups from a polyalkylene ether diol or a polyalkylene thioether dithiol of a molecular weight of about 100 to 15000. The compounds are useful to prepare polyureas.
Abstract:
A liquid jet recorder having a jet ejecting arrangement, and which is connected to a pressure medium conduit for the jet-like ejection of an electrically-conductive recording liquid against a spot on a recording carrier. The liquid ejecting arrangement consists of a plurality of jet nozzles wich are jointly supplied from a common pump, which are so directed that the liquid jets ejected therefrom impinge directly adjacent each other against the recording carrier, and the liquid jets from all nozzles penetrate through a common control electrode. The number of jet nozzles in the inventive liquid jet recorder is coordinated with the desired image results and with the desired recording velocity.
