Abstract:
In a method for recovering pure PVC from pre-disintegrated PVC containing substance mixtures, the substance mixture is soaked in a swelling agent for PVC, is supplied under pressure into an arrangement of at least two sequential hydrocyclones, wherein, in the first hydrocyclone, a heavy fraction of impurities is separated in the sink flow and a light fraction of swelled PVC particles and light impurities and plastic particles are separated in the rising flow, wherein the pre-cleaned light fraction is sorted and the particle fraction comprising the swelled PVC particles and smaller plastic particles is fed to the second hydrocyclone in which the PVC particles are separated in the sink flow. The invention also describes a device for carrying out the method.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for preparing 2-(4-trifluoromethoxyphenyl)ethylamine in an advantageous manner by (a) converting trifluoromethoxybenzene by halomethylation into halogenomethyl-1-trifluoromethoxybenzene, (b) converting the halogenomethyl-1-trifluoromethoxybenzene by halogen-cyano exchange into 4-(trifluoromethoxyphenyl)acetonitrile, and (c) reducing the 4-(trifluoromethoxyphenyl)acetonitrile using hydrogen in the presence of a nickel catalyst to form 2-(4-trifluoromethoxyphenyl)ethylamine. The first step of this process also represents an advantageous process for preparing 4-bromomethyl- and 4-chloromethyl-1-trifluoromethoxybenzene.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to novel thermoplastic materials based on polysaccharide ethers which are simultaneously substituted by carboxylic acid ester groups and carbamate groups, together with mixtures of such derivatives with low molecular weight aliphatic urea derivatives.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to new shaped articles which comprise active compounds and are based on thermoplastically processable, biologically degradable polymers, preferably polyesters, polyester amides, polyester urethanes and polyester urethane ureas, and their production and use for combating parasites on, around and in the environment of host animals, the shaped articles optionally serving, after use, for combating phytopathogenic insects on open-air or indoor plants.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a sensor (9) for detecting a torque (13) exerted on a torsion element (10) and acting about an axis of rotation (8), comprising:
a transmitter element (16) which can be mounted in a stationary manner relative to a first axial end of the torsion element (10) and is designed to output a transmitting field (17) which can be varied in the peripheral direction (24) about the axis of rotation (8), a sensor chip (18) which can be mounted in a stationary manner relative to a second end opposite the first axial end of the torsion element (10) and is designed to output a measurement signal (20) which is dependent on the transmitting field (17) arriving at the sensor chip (18), and an evaluation device (21) which is designed to output a sensor signal (19) dependent on the torque (13) on the basis of the measurement signal (20), wherein the sensor chip (18) is arranged at an axial distance from the transmitter element (16), radially overlapping same.
Abstract:
A locking mechanism (1) for a vehicle seat, particularly for a motor vehicle seat, includes a latch that is to be interlocked with an opposite element (B) and is mounted to be pivotable about a first bearing bolt (13), at least one securing element (25, 31) that secures the latch (11) in the locked state, and a lock housing (5) which supports the latch (11) and the securing element (25, 31). The lock housing (5) has an integrated first stop (5a) for the opposite element (B). The stop (5a) has a damping effect when the opposite element (B) rests against the lock housing (5).
Abstract:
A light emitting diode (LED) operating device comprises an LED module and an operating unit. The LED module, including light emitting diodes to emit incoherent radiation, is connected in releasable manner to the operating unit by a connector. The operating unit incorporates a power supply and a controller to provide the LEDs with electrical power. Sensors in the operating unit and the LED module record operational parameters of the operating device, which are used together with characteristic parameters stored in an electronic memory device, to record and control the emission characteristic of the LED module.
Abstract:
A coated article is provided with a low-emissivity (low-E) layer stack for use in a window unit or the like. The layer stack, or coating, may permit the coated article to achieve one or more of a low solar factor (SF) value, a high selectivity (Tvis/SF) value, substantially neutral color at normal and/or off-axis viewing angles, and/or low emissivity. When high selectivity values are achieved, there is provided a high ratio of visible transmission to SF, which is a desirable feature in certain example instances. In certain example embodiments, a sub-oxide layer (e.g., NiCrOx) may be used as a contact layer under an infrared (IR) reflecting layer in order to permit low SF values, high selectivity, and good coloration to be achieved.
