Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described for use with a native tricuspid valve of a heart of a mammalian subject. A valve frame (22) includes a valve-frame body (32) that is configured to support prosthetic valve leaflets (20) within the native tricuspid valve. Chord-recruiting arms (30) are configured to extend from the valve-frame body at circumferential regions corresponding to the anterior leaflet and the posterior leaflet of the native tricuspid valve. An anchoring arm (28) is configured to extend from the valve-frame body at a circumferential region corresponding to the septal leaflet of the native tricuspid valve, the anchoring arm (28) being longer than each of the chord-recruiting arms (30). Abstract: A method of implementing an extended reality (XR) neuropsychological test of a person, including projecting onto an immersive display configured to display to the person three-dimensionally a series of virtual objects and conducting a cognitive test measuring executive functions using the virtual objects; simultaneously commanding sensors to monitor motor skills including at least one of: (i) gross hand movement by commanding a motion sensor, (ii) head movement by commanding a motion sensor, (iii) an eye movement of the person by commanding eye tracking, (iv) a gait by commanding at least one of mobility sensors, motion capture system sensors, force plate sensors or insole sensors and (v) postural stability by commanding at least one of mobility sensors, force plate sensors and insole sensors, and integrating the signals from the sensors so as to determine a neurocognitive and/or motor level of the person and produce output. Affect may also be measured.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described herein including an expandable prosthetic mitral valve device that includes a first component configured to be deployed in a left atrium of the subject and a second component configured to be deployed in a left ventricle of the subject. At least one approximating component approximates the first and second components with respect to each other, such that, when the first and said second components are in an approximated configuration with respect to each other, one or more leaflets of the native mitral valve are trapped within the gap between a ventricular part and an annulus part. The approximating component secures the annulus part and the ventricular part in the approximated configuration. Other applications are also described.

Abstract: A system for monitoring treatment of a patient includes data input and output utilities, memory, and a data processor, and communicates with an image data provider to receive therefrom image data indicative of combined PET-CT scan images including at least one first and at least one second pre-treatment full body scan image of a patient. The data processor includes an identifier utility that processes the image data to identify matching first and second 2D regions in, respectively, first 2D slices forming the first scan image and second 2D slices forming the second scan image, and locate at least one pair of corresponding first and second 3D regions in the scan images; and an analyzer that analyzes each pair of the first and second 3D regions and determine a change in at least one parameter in the first and second 3D regions, and generate output data indicative of said change.

Abstract: There is provided a method for reconstructing a 3D image, comprising: obtaining Doppler ultrasound images depicting a blood vessel and measurement of blood flow in the blood vessel, and 2D camera images captured by a camera depicting fiducial objects randomly distributed within a viscous material and spaced apart by random distances on a surface of the individual, computing 3D coordinates within a world coordinate system for pixels of the Doppler images using an external reference of an ultrasound transducer pose computed by analysis of relative changes in locations of the fiducial objects within sequential camera images, and computing a respective estimated blood flow for pixels of the Doppler images at locations within the blood vessel, reconstructing a 3D image from 3D voxels computed from the 3D coordinates of pixels of the Doppler images, including respective estimated blood flow, wherein the 3D image depicts the blood vessel and blood flow.
