Abstract: A traditional Chinese medicine compound for improving testicular dysfunction is made from the following raw materials: Codonopsis pilosula, Astragalus membranaceus, Dioscorea opposita, Angelica sinensis, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos, Cynanchum otophyllum, Psoralea corylifolia, Ligusticum chuanxiong, Nelumbo nucifera, Euryale ferox, Amomum villosum, Alpinia katsumadai, Foeniculum vulgare, Cinnamomum cassia, Evodia ruticarpa, Piper nigrum, Zingiber officinale, Aconitum carmichaelii, and Glycyrrhiza uralensis. All the raw materials are combined, so that the spleen, the stomach and the kidney are in harmony, the qi, the blood and the body fluid are recovered, and the kidney essence is active. Animal experiments show that the traditional Chinese medicine compound can up-regulate expressions of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K), phospho-protein kinase B (p-AKT) and B-cell lymphoma-2 (Bcl-2), improve testicular dysfunction, improve hormone secretion, regulate a male reproductive endocrine environment of the body, and further improve semen parameters.
