Abstract:
The present invention aims to provide an absorbent article incorporated with a functional sheet without any anxiety that the wearer's skin might be contaminated even though the article is partially colored. In an absorbent article 1a comprising a sheet assembly 10, a functional sheet 51 having a size smaller than that of the sheet assembly 10, and a bodily fluid-absorbent structure 30 wherein the functional sheet 51 and the bodily fluid-absorbent structure 30 are attached to the sheet assembly 10, the functional sheet 51 is put flat with and bonded to the sheet assembly 10 so as to be kept in contact with the wearer's skin and an externally visible colored zone 4 is provided between the functional sheet 51 and the sheet assembly 10.
Abstract:
An engine-driven work machine having a target engine speed selection unit and a control unit. The target engine speed selection unit selects and specifies an arbitrary target engine speed from among a plurality of target engine speeds that is set in stepwise fashion. The control unit electrically controls the opening and closing of a throttle valve so that the actual engine speed conforms to the specified target engine speed.
Abstract:
In a motor-assisted hybrid vehicle, an active vibration control system suppresses torque fluctuations of an engine without detriment to the response of a static torque. An adaptive notch filter outputs a control signal depending on a harmonic basic signal generated by a basic signal generator from a rotational frequency of a crankshaft. A combiner combines the control signal with a drive signal for the generator motor and supplies the combined signal through a power controller to the generator motor. The basic signal is supplied to corrective filters having the transfer function of the generator motor to output a reference signal. The filter coefficient of an adaptive notch filter is successively updated so that an error signal representative of a rotational speed fluctuation of the crankshaft will be minimized.
Abstract:
A fuel supply system includes a first non-return valve for a low-pressure delivery connection pipe and a second non-return valve for a pump supply pipe. The former non-return pipe does not allow fuel to flow from the low-pressure delivery pipe to the low-pressure supply pipe. The second non-return valve does not allow fuel to flow from pump supply pipe to the low-pressure supply pipe. Upon determining that air purging is necessary, an engine ECU operates a feed pump for approximately one second and then opens, for dummy injection, an in-cylinder injector and an intake manifold injector.
Abstract:
When the engine being in an idling operation and it is in a running state (S410, S420), a value 1 is set to a learning-determination flag F1 (step S460) and the learning of the idling control value is performed when the transmission is in the state of Lo gear and it is not immediately after a Hi-Lo shifting has been performed (S430 to S450).
Abstract:
A subtractor subtracts an echo canceling signal Ĉ·yl(n−1) from a canceling error signal e(n) to estimate a residual noise to be silenced at the position of a microphone, and outputs a first basic signal x1(n) representing the residual noise. A first control circuit section generates a first control signal y1(n) based on the first basic signal x1(n) and a second basic signal x2(n) that is generated by delaying the first basic signal x1(n) by a time Z−n. A second circuit section generates a second control signal y2(n) based on the first basic signal x1(n) and an engine rotation signal.
Abstract:
A control device for cylinder reducing operation of a multi-cylinder engine for a vehicle controls the number of working cylinders in the engine more appropriately for fuel economy while ensuring the operational stability of the engine and comfortable drivability of the vehicle. The control device comprises a detector detecting engine output torque and judges if cylinder reducing operation is to be executed while referring to the engine output torque. Because of the detection of engine output torque, cylinder reducing operation will be executed as long as torque requested of the engine is available from the reduced number of working cylinders, thereby ensuring the generation of torque required in operating the engine while saving fuel as much as possible. Through a learning process, criteria for the judgment of execution of cylinder reducing operation are modified to be adapted for any variation of engine output performances.
Abstract:
An active noise control system is provided which cancels a noise using a sound radiated from a speaker driven by an output from an adaptive notch filter. The system employs output signals from an adder or simulation cosine-wave and sine-wave signals, an error signal or an output signal from a microphone, and a compensated signal from the adder or a signal available for acoustically transferring an output from the adaptive notch filter to the microphone in accordance with initial transfer characteristics to update the filter coefficient of the adaptive notch filter. This configuration allows the system to operate with stability even when the acoustic transfer characteristics vary with time or under circumstances where there exists a significant amount of incoming external noises. The system also prevents overcompensation for a noise at the ears of a passenger in a vehicle, thereby proving an ideal noise reduction effect.
Abstract:
An active noise control system includes a filter coefficient updating unit including an imaginary term estimator. The imaginary term estimator estimates an imaginary term Ie from a real term Re of an error signal e supplied from a microphone. The filter coefficient updating unit updates a filter coefficient W of an adaptive filter based on the imaginary term Ie, the real term Re, and a corrective signal supplied from a reference signal corrector. The filter coefficient updating unit updates the filter coefficient W successively in respective sampling periods.
