摘要: A control system for controlling operation of an internal combustion engine is configured to: receive a first request signal indicative of first torque demand; determine a schedule defining an opening timing of the intake valve and a closing timing of the intake valve of a cylinder of the internal combustion engine in dependence on the first torque demand; and cause the intake valve to open in accordance with the schedule. The control system is also configured to, during a period in which the intake valve is open: receive a second torque request signal indicative of a second torque demand different to the first torque demand; determine an updated schedule defining an updated closing timing of the intake valve in dependence on the second torque demand; and cause the intake valve to close in accordance with the updated schedule.

摘要: A control device of an internal combustion engine is provided. In the case where a switch request for switching from all-cylinder operation to partial-cylinder operation is made, before a switch from the all-cylinder operation to the partial-cylinder operation is executed, an intake air amount increase control increasing an intake air flow rate of an engine by increasing an opening degree of a throttle valve is performed, an ignition timing retardation control retarding an ignition timing is performed, and based on a retardation limit value of the ignition timing at a time point when the switch request is made, a start timing of the intake air amount increase control is changed. As a retardable amount being a difference between an initial ignition timing and the retardation limit value decreases, the start timing of the intake air amount increase control is delayed further.

摘要: A control device for a vehicle includes a driver request torque detection unit that detects a driver request torque, a restriction torque calculation unit that calculates a restriction torque being smaller than the driver request torque based on an external request, a corrected torque calculation unit that calculates a corrected torque being greater than the restriction torque, and an engine control unit that controls positions of a throttle valve and an exhaust bypass valve. The engine control unit controls the positions of the throttle valve and the exhaust bypass valve based on the driver request torque during an ordinary drive, and if a prescribed drive condition is satisfied, the engine control unit controls the position of the throttle valve based on the restriction torque and controls the position of the exhaust bypass valve based on the corrected torque.

摘要: An internal combustion engine (1) having a regulating device (C) wherein an air-fuel mixture with a combustion air ratio (λ) which is adjustable by the regulating device is burnt in the internal combustion engine, wherein the regulating device (C) has a power output regulating circuit adapted to adapt an actual output (Pg) of the internal combustion engine (1) to a reference power output (Pdg) of the internal combustion engine (1) by way of an adjustment of the combustion air ratio (λ), and a NOx emission regulating circuit adapted by way of a functional relationship (2) to actuate actuators influencing a charge pressure as an alternative parameter for the NOx emission by the charge pressure such that a charge pressure reference value (pdim) can be set for each reference power output (Pdg) of the internal combustion engine.

摘要: A variety of methods and arrangements are described for controlling transitions between firing fractions during skip fire or other dynamic firing level modulation operation of an engine. In general, actuator first transition strategies are described in which an actuator position (e.g., cam phase, TCC slip, etc.) is changed to, or close to a target position before a corresponding firing fraction change is implemented. When the actuator change associated with a desired firing fraction change is relatively large, the firing fraction change is divided into a series of two or more firing fraction change steps. A number of intermediate target selection schemes are described as well.

摘要: Control systems and methods for a vehicle comprising an automatic transmission utilize a sensor configured to measure an operating parameter of an engine of the vehicle. A controller of the vehicle is configured to detect an imminent shift of the automatic transmission based on the measured operating parameter of the engine. In response to detecting the imminent shift of the automatic transmission, the controller is configured to decrease torque output of the engine by a desired amount by enleaning an air/fuel charge provided to a cylinder of the engine. After decreasing the torque output of the engine by the desired amount, the controller is configured to control the automatic transmission to perform the shift. The decreasing of the engine torque output provides for a smoother shift of the automatic transmission and increased engine fuel economy.

摘要: A method for operating a drive device with an internal combustion engine and an exhaust gas turbocharger associated with an internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine is connected to an intake tract provided with a throttle valve. A specified ignition point is determined from a rotational speed of an internal combustion engine. At the same time with a target load jump of the internal combustion engine from an actual torque to a target torque with a full opening of the throttle valve by setting a first target ignition point which is later than the specified ignition point, a target reserve is built up and the actual torque is increased at the same time. The target reserve is used prior to reaching the target torque with the actual torque by setting a second target ignition point which is earlier than the first ignition point, and in addition is used to increase the actual torque.

摘要: A method for operating an internal combustion engine comprises providing a vehicle having an internal combustion gasoline engine including multiple cylinders and wherein the engine is operating in a deactivated cylinder mode, receiving a torque request if a cylinder reactivation torque smoothing mode is active, setting a variable torque ratio to 1.0 if the torque request is greater than a fast exit threshold torque, setting the variable torque ratio to 0.0 if the torque request is less than a slow exit threshold torque, setting the variable torque ratio to a value between 0.0 and 1.0 if the torque request is between the fast exit threshold torque and slow exit threshold torque, and calculating a component of final engine output torque.
