摘要： An auger mounting assembly includes a slide bearing assembly and a mounting plate. The mounting plate is attached to a motor vehicle such as an all-terrain vehicle. The slide bearing assembly is pivotally retained by the mounting plate. An auger mounting bracket extends from the slide bearing assembly. The auger mounting bracket retains a handle of the auger. The slide bearing plate may be retained in a horizontal position for transport. A second embodiment of an auger mounting assembly includes a hitch bracket and the slide bearing assembly. 摘要： A control apparatus for use with two opposed ground markers of an agricultural machine comprises a hydraulic circuit including a plurality of hydraulic valves for communicating fluid actuate movements of the marker cylinders and an electrical control system including a plurality of manually operable actuating switches to effect operation of said hydraulic valves. Each of the switches provides an output in response to a single actuation thereof and there is provided an output timer operable to effect operation of the hydraulic valves for a period of time sufficient to effect a stroke of the cylinders. The electrical control system provides an output in response to actuation of selected ones of the switches only in response to actuation of the switch for a predetermined time period sufficient to avoid inadvertent actuation. The switches include a first switch for actuating extension of the first marker and a second switch for actuating extension of the second marker and a single third switch for effecting retraction movement of both the first and second markers. Four indicator lights are provided for indicating the position of the markers and a control unit for effecting flashing of a respective one of the indicator lights when the respective marker is moving toward a respective one of the positions.

摘要： A fuel supply system for supplying fuel from a fuel source to an internal combustion engine includes a valve assembly having a shut-off valve automatically responsive to negative pressures transmitted from engine aspiration or a fuel pump. The shutoff valve is diaphragm responsive and moves in the same direction as the flow of fuel in order close the valve assembly, thereby retaining the content of a fuel receptacle infinitely. The shutoff valve is adapted to withstand pressures which may develop in a fuel receptacle without opening. In one embodiment, the fuel supply system includes a vapor line for directing fuel vapor from the fuel receptacle to a portion of the engine, where it can be combusted. The vapor line is operatively associated with a fuel cap. The fuel cap can be selectively rotated positioned so as to permit fuel vapor to enter the vapor line.

摘要： A fuel primer for small internal combustion engines is disclosed. The fuel primer is associated with a metering chamber of a carburetor. The metering chamber includes an inlet port and an outlet port and communicates with both a fuel source and a venturi on the carburetor by conventional means. The primer includes a mechanism which communicates with the restricted inlet port to provide one way flow into the metering chamber. A second mechanism communicates with the unrestricted outlet port to provide one way flow from the metering chamber. A third mechanism associates the first and second one way mechanisms for pressurizing and depressurizing the flow through the primer so that fuel is drawn into the metering chamber from the fuel source.

摘要： A straw chopper and spreader assembly for receiving straw from a threshing machine, has a casing enclosing a pair of contra-rotatable flail assemblies. The flails are mounted in different horizontal planes and have blades which overlap so as to shear and chop the strew. At the rear of the casing is a rear outlet defined between a rear skirt and a bottom extension of the casing. The rear skirt is adjustable so as to enlarge or reduce the size of the rear outlet. In addition to discharge through the rear outlet, chopped straw is also discharged laterally through side chutes which have removable end portions so that discharge selectively may be outwardly and upwardly or outwardly and downwardly. Chaff spreading discs are mounted below the assembly and rotates horizontally. These receive chaff from the threshing combine via a reciprocating feed tray secured to and extending rearwardly from the reciprocal sieves and extend rearwardly from the sieve thereby depositing chaff onto the discs to be spread outwardly with chopped straw. A beater assembly rotates just above and behind the discharge of the straw walker which, together with a deflector panel, forces the straw downwardly into the flail assemblies.
