Abstract:
A print control module for a thermal printer includes a housing, a transmission device, a first driving mechanism, a second driving mechanism, and a power switching mechanism all installed in the housing. The transmission device includes a motor, and a transmission gears set for transmitting power of the motor. When the motor rotates in a first direction, the power switching mechanism transfers power of the motor to the first driving mechanism, and when the motor rotates in a direction opposite to the first direction, the power switching mechanism fixes the first driving mechanism and transfers power of the motor to the second driving mechanism.
Abstract:
An optical mechanism installed in an office machine, which has a machine base defining an internal space, and a paper-feeding mechanism arranged on the machine base, the paper-feeding mechanism having an inside receiving space and a bottom incident zone for the passing of light. The optical mechanism has an optical-path device formed of an image sensor and an optical module and mounted in the internal space inside the machine base, and a light-focusing structure mounted in the receiving space inside the paper-feeding mechanism above the incident zone for increasing optical path.
Abstract:
A document feeder for multifunction printers or scanners offers high reliability and speedy paper-picking, -separating and -feeding functions. It comprises a picking module, a separating module and a feeding module. Since the three modules take turns to deliver paper, the paper can be picked at a lower speed, separated at a medium speed and then fed at a high speed. In addition, the separating module comprises a clutch. When the paper was fed by the feeding module, the clutch is activated to provide an interval between papers and to prevent papers from plucking.
Abstract:
A media conveying mechanism located in a media data recorder for conveying media mainly includes a driving motor to provide driving power needed. A first clutch to control the operation of a pickup roller. A second clutch to control rotation direction of an intermediate roller, a sensor to detect the conveying process of the media and control the operation of the second clutch. By deploying the two clutches, conveying quantity of the media in a unit time period can be effectively improved.
Abstract:
A method for predicting drowsiness is disclosed. By obtaining average heart beat rate values of a driver, and according to the characteristics of the heart beat rate values over a period of time, the method is utilized to determine whether the human being is going to sleep. The method comprises the following steps: detecting a heart beat rate of a driver; calculating a curve of the heart beat rate average during a time interval of X minutes; determining an accumulated period of time during which the slope values of the linear regression equations are smaller than the predetermined slope value Z; determining whether the length of the accumulated period of time is greater than a time threshold T to generate a drowsiness detecting result; and determining whether to raise an alarm based on the drowsiness detecting result.
Abstract:
A method for measuring physiological parameters uses statistical properties, spectrum analysis and feedback mechanisms to remove the signal noise generated by human body movement from a detected physiological signal.
Abstract:
A heating and fixing device for toner particles is provided, which includes a pressing element, at least one elastic element, a tube-shaped film, and a pressing roller. The elastic element is provided for generating force to press the pressing element constantly. The heating element is provided for heating the pressing element through the heated side. The film is disposed around the pressing element and the heating element, wherein the film slides relative to the pressing element, and the pressing element presses against the film from the inner side of the film and transfers heat to the film by heat conduction. The pressing element presses the film to contact the pressing roller, so that the recording medium is pressed and heated when traveled between the pressing roller and the film.
Abstract:
A fuser assembly for an electrophotographic device includes a tubular roller, a pressing member, a pressing roller, and a heater. The pressing member is disposed in the tubular roller, and includes a tubular part that has a flat surface. The pressing roller presses the tubular roller against the flat surface of the tubular part of the pressing member. The heater is disposed in the tubular part of the pressing member.
Abstract:
A paper pickup mechanism located on one side of a feeding paper tray consists of a pickup roller, a plurality of gears and a plurality of linkage bars to form a highly free mechanism that drives the pickup roller rotating in the paper feeding direction and generating a torque to enable the pickup roller exerting a force on the top paper of the paper tray and provide an automatic compensating paper pickup force. By rearranging the structural locations of the elements, fewer gears are required to transmit the driving power, and energy loss and noise generation are reduced.
