Abstract: Adhesive articles that include a substrate and a silicone adhesive are disclosed. The articles also include a polymer containing poly(propylene oxide) units and optionally poly(ethylene oxide) units and having a number average molecular weight of at least 1000 grams per mole. The polymer may either be incorporated into the substrate or may be used as a primer on the substrate. If the polymer includes poly(ethylene oxide) units, the copolymer typically has a weight ratio of poly(ethylene oxide) to poly(propylene oxide) of up to 3:1, or if the copolymer has a number average molecular weight of at least 10,000 grams per mole, the weight ratio of poly(ethylene oxide) to poly(propylene oxide) is up to 2:1. Methods of making the adhesive articles are also disclosed.

Abstract: A nasogastric tube securement system. The system can include a base layer and a coupling layer. The base layer can be configured to be adhered to a nose, having a first major surface comprisng a skin-contact adhesive and a second major surface opposite the first major surface. The coupling layer can include a first end comprising coupling means configured to be repositionably coupled to the second major surface of the base layer, a second end configured to secure a nasogastric tube, and a middle section connecting the first end and the second end. The middle section can be elongated along a longitudinal direction, and the second end can include at least two legs extending downwardly from the first end, each leg separated from an adjacent leg by an acute angle.

Abstract: Adhesive articles suitable for use in medical applications include a siloxane-based pressure sensitive adhesive layer, and a breathable conformable backing having a first surface and a second surface. The siloxane-based pressure sensitive adhesive layer is coated on the first surface of the breathable conformable backing, and the second surface of the breathable conformable backing comprises a treated surface. The siloxane-based pressure sensitive adhesive layer can be attached to skin and other adhesive articles can be releasably adhered to the treated surface to form adhesive constructions.
