    Abstract: An electrical connector mounted to a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) includes an insulating housing having a mating face, a mounting face and a rear wall positioned between the mating face and the mounting face. The housing defines a number of contact-receiving passageways and a number of heat dissipating slots communicating with the contact-receiving passageways. a number of conductive contacts are respectively received in the passageways. Each contact includes a contacting portion, a termination portion and an intermediate portion. The insulating housing has a heat dissipating section defined between the mounting face and the rear wall. The heat dissipating section communicates with the heat dissipating slots to thereby defining a heat dissipating path therebetween.

    Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of contacts retained in the insulative housing and a fastener. The insulative housing has a rear surface. Each contact has a connecting leg extending beyond the rear surface. The connecting legs are arranged in at least a row, and each connecting leg has a connecting portion and a resisting portion. The fastener has at least a contact receiving chamber, a flexible circuit board receiving chamber communicating with the contact receiving chamber and a press section. The contact receiving chamber is arranged between from the flexible circuit board receiving chamber and the press section. Wherein the fastener has a fixed position on the insulative housing, and as moving the fastener to the fixed position, the press section presses the resisting portion to drive the connecting portion projecting into the flexible circuit board receiving chamber.

    Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a number of first contact modules, a number of second contact modules and a number of third contacts all assembled into the insulative housing. Each first contact module includes a first wafer and first contacts insert-molded in the first wafer. Each second contact module includes a second wafer and second contacts insert-molded in the second wafer. The first contact modules, the second contact modules and the third contacts are arranged side by side after being inserted into the insulative housing. The adjacent first wafer and the second wafer cooperatively include mutual locking structures so that they can be inserted into the insulative housing in turn under a predetermined sequence.

    Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing and a number of electrical contacts. The insulative housing has a top wall, a bottom wall and a number of side walls. The side walls form a number of passageways extending through the insulative housing. The electrical contacts are received in the passageways and each includes a contacting portion, a tail portion and a main portion connecting with the contacting portion and the tail portion. The main portion is provided with a first fastening means for engaging with the side wall and a second fastening means for engaging with the top wall so as to secure the electrical contacts to the insulative housing.

    Abstract: An electrical contact assembly includes a pair of contacting members and a cable receiving member fixed with the contacting members. Each of the contacting members is in a shape of sheet and opposite to each other. The pair of contacting members is formed separately and defines a front-to-rear direction. The cable receiving member is formed separately from the pair of contacting members or is formed integrally with one of the contacting members. As the pair of contacting members is formed separately, the manufacturing process is simple and the quality is easy to control. The symmetry accuracy of the pair of contacting portions will also be controlled perfectly. As a result, a power loss of an electric current will be decreased.

    Abstract: A cable connector includes an insulative housing, at least one group of circuit boards retained on the insulative housing, cables connecting with the circuit boards electrically, and insulator fixing the insulative housing, the circuit boards and the cables together. The insulative housing has a first receiving space and a second receiving space. The first receiving space spaces apart from the second receiving space along a front to back direction. Each circuit board has a front part received in the first receiving space and a rear part received in the second receiving space. The front part is formed with electrical contacts.     Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, at least a contact module and a grounding member. The insulative housing has a body portion and a mating portion forwardly extending from the body portion. The mating portion is provided with a top wall, a bottom wall, a pair of side walls and a receiving space formed therebetween. The receiving space opens forwardly. The contact module has a plurality of contacts retained on the insulative housing. Each contact has a contact portion forwardly extending into the receiving space and a connecting portion backwardly extending out of the body portion. The grounding member has a middle grounding sheet and a pair of locking arms projecting into the receiving space. The middle grounding sheet is fixed in the body portion and spacing apart from the contacts along an up to down direction. The locking arms electrically connect with the middle grounding sheet.

    Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing and a number of conductive contacts received in the insulative housing. Each conductive contact is substantially located in a main surface and includes a contacting portion extending beyond the front wall of the insulative housing, an intermediate portion extending rearward from the contacting portion and received in the insulative housing, and a termination portion bending vertically from the intermediate portion.     Abstract: An electrical connector mountable on a printed circuit board and adapted for mating with a complementary connector, comprises an insulative housing and pairs of power contacts. The housing defines a plurality of passageways each having inside walls. Each pair of power contacts includes two separate, opposed power contacts. Each power contact has a contacting portion, a tail portion and an intermediate portion interconnecting the contacting portion and the tail portion. The tail portions of the pair of power contacts are arranged into two rows. One tail portion of one row of tail portions is formed with a protrusion therealong and one tail portion of the other row of tail portions is also formed with a protrusion. The distance between the two tail portions with protrusions located at different rows is larger than any other two tail portions.
