Abstract: Concepts and technologies for providing virtualized network monitoring as a service are provided. In an embodiment, a method can include providing, by a processor of a computer system within a service host network, a network monitoring portal to a user equipment associated with a private network. The method also can include receiving, from the user equipment via the network monitoring portal, access credentials that enable access to the private network. The method can include receiving a selection of a plurality of network monitoring service modules for monitoring the private network, and instantiating a plurality of virtual network monitoring probes that each correspond to at least one of the plurality of network monitoring service modules selected. The method can include injecting the plurality of virtual network monitoring probes within the private network, where the virtual network monitoring probes are activated in response to being injected within the private network.

Abstract: An example method includes estimating a number of people expected to attend a non-ticketed event, based on electronic data including social media postings, estimating a per-person amount of network traffic expected to be generated on a communications network during the non-ticketed event, based at least in part on historical per-person network traffic statistics for a historical event of a similar type to the non-ticketed event, calculating an amount of total network traffic expected to be generated during the non-ticketed event, based at least on the number of people expected to attend the non-ticketed event and the per-person amount of network traffic, and implementing a modification to an infrastructure of the communications network in a geographic location of the non-ticketed event, based at least in part on the amount of total network traffic expected to be generated during the non-ticketed event.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which a processing system receives data at an edge node of a network that also includes regional nodes and central nodes. The processing system also determines a latency criterion associated with an application for processing the data; the application corresponds to an application programming interface. The method also includes processing the data in accordance with the application, monitoring a latency associated with the processing, and determining whether the latency meets the latency criterion. The processing system dynamically assigns data processing resources so that the latency meets the latency criterion; the resources include computation, network and storage resources of the edge node, a central node, and a regional node in communication with the edge node and the central node. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed for creating and using cell clusters. Cellular network data associated with a cellular network can be obtained. The cellular network data can include configuration data associated with a cell of the cellular network and a performance indicator associated with the cellular network. A number of cell clusters to be generated can be determined and the cell clusters can be generated. The cell clusters can include a cell cluster that can represent multiple cells including the cell. A model that represents the cell cluster can be trained. An input cluster that represents multiple inputs can be generated. The inputs can be associated with the multiple cells and the input cluster can include a value. The value can be provided as input to the model to obtain a predicted output associated with the cell cluster.

Abstract: A processing system having at least one processor may obtain a sequence of frames of a video, and detect a correlation between visual properties of a first frame of the sequence of frames and a second frame of the sequence of frames, where the second frame comprises a next frame following the first frame in the sequence of frames. The processing system may then generate a first difference vector comprising a difference between a latent space representation of the second frame and a latent space representation of the first frame in response to detecting the correlation between the visual properties, where the latent space representation of the first frame and the latent space representation of the second frame are generated via an autoencoder, and store the first difference vector in a first encoding block.
