摘要: In an interchangeable lens including an optical system adjustable for focusing and adapted to be detachably mounted on a camera body which is provided with focus detection means for detecting an amount of defocus of an object image formed by the optical system, and drive means for driving the optical system for the focus adjustment thereof in accordance with the detected amount of defocus. The interchangeable lens comprises, inter alia, a code plate for producing a plurality of digital photographic distance signals representing given discrete photographic distances of the optical system in accordance with the adjustment of the optical system for focusing. Circuit means output a predetermined one of a plurality of inputs, the plurality of outputs including a plurality of conversion coefficients needed for converting the detected amount of defocus into the amount of drive to be effected by the driving means, the conversion coefficients being intrinsic to the interchangeable lens and having values depending upon the discrete photographic distances of the optical system represented by the digital photographic distance signals, respectively. The digital photographic distance signals are applied to the circuit means as the predetermined input to cause the circuit means to output one of the conversion coefficients as the predetermined output, the value of which depends upon the photographic distance of the optical system represented by the one digital photographic distance signal being produced. The output conversion coefficient are transmitted to the camera body.

摘要: An image forming optical system, such as a photographic objective lens assembly is provided with a movable optical element. The movable optical element is designed and mounted so that it can optically interact with the transmission rays of the optical system or permit the rays to pass unaffected. The optical element can be a filter capable of improving the image forming characteristics of target object image to provide an advantageous soft focus, for example, as a portrait lens system or to provide a soft defocussed image. The optical filter element can have a central region capable of passing the converging or diverging transmitted rays through the optical system substantially free of refraction and a peripheral region capable of decreasing the transmitted image point intensity of rays transmitted therethrough. The optical filter element can be movable along the optical axis within a predetermined range of movement. This range of movement includes one position wherein the central region of the optical filter element will transmit all the incident rays. Various types of optical filters can be used such as filters with a peripheral region shaded to vary transmission intensity or given a refractive power.

摘要: An information provision system 11 is provided which provides in advance a travel data package 10 via the Internet 1, in which data effective for measuring the current position such as the longitude and latitude information of a travel site location is stored based on itinerary information in such a manner as to be associated with an itinerary. Then, as a result of going on a travel by storing the distributed travel data package 10 in a portable terminal 6, it is possible to measure the current position in a short time because the longitude and latitude information, for example, of a scheduled place of the itinerary can be known in advance at a travel site.
