    摘要: A computer-implemented method for estimating a volume of at least one food item on a food plate is disclosed. A first and second plurality of images are received from different positions above a food plate, wherein angular spacing between the positions of the first plurality of images is greater than angular spacing between the positions of the second plurality of images. A first set of poses of each of the first plurality of images is estimated. A second set of poses of each of the second plurality of images is estimated based on at least the first set of poses. A pair of images taken from each of the first and second plurality of images is rectified based on at least the first and second set of poses. A 3D point cloud is reconstructed based on at least the rectified pair of images. At least one surface of the at least one food item above the food plate is estimated based on at least the reconstructed 3D point cloud. The volume of the at least one food item is estimated based on the at least one surface.

    摘要: RF predistortion apparatus for making linear the output signal of non-linear components such as RF power amplifiers. The apparatus comprises an RF input line for carrying an RF signal connected to an envelop detector for finding the envelop of the RF signal, a power detector for finding the power of the RF signal and a quadrature modulator. The apparatus also comprises a coefficient vector input line for carrying an input signal that carries one or more coefficients to a digitally controlled analog subsystem (DCAS). The DCAS having circuitry for processing both the output of the envelop detector and the output of the power detector by selecting one or more coefficients from the coefficient vector input line for generating a weighted summation of the power of the RF signal and a weighted summation of the envelop voltage of the RF signal that are output to the quadrature modulator. The quadrature modulator has circuitry for mixing the RF input signal with the output of the DCAS to generate a signal for predistorting the RF input signal feeding the power amplifier.

    摘要: In a MIMO system using a cross-polarized antenna structure, even if no ideal XPD can be obtained, the interference between different polarized waves can be reduced to allow an effective precoding to be executed. When a MIMO communication is performed between a transmitter (250) and a receiver (260) each using a cross-polarized antenna structure, a channel estimating and precoding selection section (214) of the receiver (260) performs a channel estimation of MIMO channels from the transmitter to the receiver, decides a precoding matrix (P) of a projection matrix for mutually orthogonalizing or substantially orthogonalizing the channel response matrixes for respective different polarized waves, and feeds the determined precoding matrix (P) back to the transmitter (250). In the transmitter (250), a precoding processing section (208) applies the precoding matrix (P) to the spatial stream corresponding to one of the polarized waves to perform a precoding, thereby allowing the transmitter (250) to transmit the polarized waves with the orthogonality therebetween maintained.

The method for data transmission includes receiving multiple input data streams and performing low density parity check (LDPC) encoding of the input data streams utilizing a parity check matrix. The parity check matrix comprises a plurality of sub-parity check matrices for encoding respective associated ones of the input data streams and performing space time encoding for transmitting the LDPC encoded input data streams over a plurality of antennas. The performing of the LDPC encoding of the input data streams includes generating one or more connection matrices, each connection matrix for injecting information of one of the input data streams into the encoding of another one of the input data streams. Each connection matrix is a zero matrix if a lowest parity check protection level based on the sub-parity check matrix for the one of the input data streams is equal to or lower than an assigned parity check protection level for the one input data stream, and a non zero matrix otherwise.
