    摘要: This invention focuses on automotive electrochromic (EC) mirrors. There are several ways to improve the attribute of this product and also use superior processing methods. This invention improves on busbars which are used to power these devices. This discloses novel busbar designs, materials and busbar deposition methods. This invention also addresses the composition of transparent conductor coatings which can be used in an advantageous configuration for third surface mirrors, and corrosion resistant reflective coating compositions for EC mirrors. Processing methods to deposit coatings for third surface mirrors are also disclosed. Insignias may also be incorporated in EC mirrors by using conductive materials deposited on the second surface of an EC mirror configuration that is formed b two substrates.

This method discloses improved sample preparation methods, particularly for refractory beryllium materials. The method also discloses methods to improve the detection limit of beryllium including use of optical filters with specific characteristics for selecting the emission wavelengths of the fluorescence signal.

    摘要: This invention discloses a process for assembling an electrooptic (including electrochromic) devices, wherein the device comprises a step of forming solid electrolyte layer by in-situ polymerization of a liquid composition wherein the said liquid composition comprises at least one ionic liquid. The polymerization process may lead to formation of a crosslinked polymer, and such a process may be initiated by UV radiation. The electrochromic devices of this invention may be used as a display, window or a variable reflectivity automotive mirror.
