摘要: A hose clamp includes an annular clamp body having a first terminal portion and a second terminal portion. The first terminal portion has a guide opening, a lock wall defined between the guide opening and the leading end of the first terminal portion, and side walls disposed across the guide opening and folded back over themselves in a substantially U-shaped cross section having an upper side piece and a lower side piece. The second terminal portion has a radially outwardly bent wall serving as an engaging tongue piece. The clamp body is kept in a radially expanded state when the engaging tongue piece of the second terminal portion abuts against the lock wall of the first terminal portion and is radially contracted when the abutment between the engaging tongue piece and the lock wall is released to move the engaging tongue piece within the guide opening.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a final fiber bundle for use in brushes is highly efficiently applicable to synthetic fibers having poor thermal stability. The method comprises the steps of: (a) arranging a number of synthetic thermoplastic fibers so that at least one end of each fiber is positioned in the same plane, to obtain a fiber bundle, (b) compressing the thus obtained fiber bundle to the extent that the compressed fiber bundle takes a desired cross-sectional shape and has a desired bulk density, (c) irradiating the fiber ends in the same plane with energy beams to fusion bond them together, and (d) releasing the compression to obtain a final bundle having a fusion bonded fiber ends. In a case where the synthetic fibers are not thermoplastic, a thermoplastic adhesive is additionally used in the step of irradiation.

摘要: An acoustic signal processing circuit extracts input speech pattern data and subsidiary feature data from an input speech signal. The input speech pattern data comprise frequency spectra, whereas the subsidiary feature data comprise phoneme and acoustic features. These data are then stored in a data buffer memory. The similarity measures between the input speech pattern data stored in the data buffer memory and reference speech pattern data stored in a dictionary memory are computed by a similarity computation circuit. When the largest similarity measure exceeds a first threshold value and when the difference between the largest similarity measure and the second largest measure exceeds a second threshold value, category data of the reference pattern which gives the largest similarity measure is produced by a control circuit to correspond to an input speech. When recognition cannot be performed, the categories of the reference speech patterns which respectively give the largest to mth similarity measures are respectively compared with the subsidiary feature data. In this manner, subsidiary feature recognition of the input voice is performed by a subsidiary feature recognition section.

摘要: An oil-cooled type screw rotor assembly having a female rotor and a male rotor adapted to rotate around parallel axes in meshing relation to each other. The leading side flank of the female rotor is constituted by a first leading side flank formed by an arc of a radius R.sub.1 and a second leading side flank formed by an arc of a radius R.sub.2. Also, the trailing side flank of the female rotor is constituted by a first trailing side flank formed by an arc of the tooth ends of the male rotor having a radius R.sub.5 and a second trailing side flank formed by an arc of a radius R.sub.3 which is smaller than the radius R.sub.2 of the second leading side flank. The configuration of the teeth of the male rotor is materially formed by arcs of the leading and trailing side flanks of the female rotor.

摘要: A large aperture wide-angle photographic lens system is composed of ten lenses grouped in eight lens components. In order from the object side to the image side, the first lens is a positive lens, and the second and third lenses are negative meniscus lenses having their surfaces of higher curvature facing the image side. The fourth and fifth lenses form a cemented doublet, the fourth lens being a positive lens and the fifth lens being a negative lens. The sixth and seventh lenses also form a cemented doublet with the sixth lens and the seventh lens being positive and negative lenses, respectively. Both doublets are cemented at the surfaces of highest curvature. Each of the eight, ninth and tenth lenses are positive lenses.

摘要: A manufacturing method of a semiconductor device including an electrode having low contact resistivity to a nitride semiconductor is provided. The manufacturing method includes a carbon containing layer forming step of forming a carbon containing layer containing carbon on a nitride semiconductor layer, and a titanium containing layer forming step of forming a titanium containing layer containing titanium on the carbon containing layer. A complete solid solution Ti (C, N) layer of TiN and TiC is formed between the titanium containing layer and the nitride semiconductor layer. As a result, the titanium containing layer comes to be in ohmic contact with the nitride semiconductor layer throughout the border therebetween.

摘要: A current to be applied to a ground is defined as the sum of two sinusoidal waves having first and second frequency components. A signal to be used at the time of synchronous detection is defined as a difference between the sinusoidal waves having the first and second frequency components. As a result, a substance in the ground, and the position and depth of the substance can be specified with high accuracy.
