Abstract: A replacement heart valve implant includes an expandable framework including a commissure post and defining a central lumen, and a valve leaflet disposed within the central lumen, the valve leaflet including a mounting tab secured to the expandable framework at the commissure post. The commissure post is configured to hold the mounting tab in compression. A tool for assembling a replacement heart valve implant includes a tool body comprising first and second body portions, first and second handle portions extending from the body portions, and first and second post engagement arms extending from the body portions. Translation of the first handle portion toward the second handle portion translates the first post engagement arm away from the second post engagement arm.

Abstract: A replacement heart valve system may include a replacement heart valve implant including an expandable framework configured to shift from a radially collapsed to a radially expanded configuration, wherein the framework is self-biased toward the radially expanded configuration, and a plurality of valve leaflets attached to the framework. The replacement heart valve system may include an implant delivery system including a handle and an elongate shaft assembly including a tubular member fixedly attached to the handle, and an implant holding portion configured to constrain the framework in the radially collapsed configuration. The elongate shaft assembly includes an expandable balloon disposed on the tubular member within the implant holding portion, the balloon being configured to shift between deflated and inflated configurations. When the framework is constrained within the implant holding portion, at least a portion of the framework extends distal of the balloon in the deflated configuration.

Abstract: An implant system and method of delivery includes a catheter system including a sling catheter having a plurality of distal openings and a delivery catheter, disposed within the sling catheter and having a distal port. Suture coupled anchors may be sequentially delivered by the delivery catheter to a cardiac treatment site by aligning the port of the delivery catheter with different openings of the sling catheter and pushing the anchor through the port and the sling catheter to embed the anchor into cardiac tissue such as tissue of a papillary muscle. Each anchor may have a linear configuration for translation within the delivery catheter and a biased configuration that inhibits its reentry into the sling catheter once deployed. Once all anchors are deployed, the suture may be tightened, the anchored portion of the sling catheter may be detached, and the catheter system withdrawn.

Abstract: An implantable medical device adapted to be implanted at an implantation site may be capable of being implanted in more than one rotational orientation at the implantation site. Abstract: A device for radially compressing a stent may include a housing including a central opening and a first iris positioned adjacent the housing. The device may include a second iris axially offset from the first iris and including a second circumferential ring and a second plurality of arms extending radially inward from the second circumferential ring to define a second central opening. Rotation of the circumferential ring(s) relative to the housing changes a size of their respective central opening(s). The plurality of arms may shift between a first configuration and a second configuration via rotation of the circumferential ring(s) relative to the housing.

Abstract: A replacement heart valve implant may include an expandable framework having a plurality of frame struts defining a lattice structure, each frame strut having a thickness in a radial direction from a central longitudinal axis; and a plurality of valve leaflets coupled to the expandable framework.
