    摘要： The invention relates to a low-pressure discharge lamp comprising a glass discharge vessel (1) which is substantially tubular in form and which is closed in a gas-tight manner on the ends thereof, a filling consisting of an inert gas mixture and quicksilver, in addition to an optional luminous coating on the inner wall of the discharge vessel (1). Two current supply inlets are respectively melted into the two ends of the discharge vessel (1), with a helical electrode secured thereto (5). The invention is characterized in that in order to increase the switching resistance of the lamp in a cold start operation, at least one other electrode (7,8) made of a conductive material is arranged in the region between the helical electrode (5) and the connecting end of the discharge vessel (1) and one end of said other electrode (7, 8) is electrically connected to one of the two current supply inlets (3,4).

    摘要： The compact low-pressure discharge lamp (1) has a wound tubular discharge vessel (2) with at least four straight tubes (6, 7) which are in a polygonal arrangement and, close to or at the ends of the straight tubes (6, 7), are connected by transverse connections (8, 10, 11) to form a single continuous discharge path which is closed off in a gastight manner. A coil spring (14) made from metal, which runs parallel to the tubes (6, 7) is arranged in the center of the cylindrical cavity (13) formed by the straight tubes (6, 7) of the discharge vessel (2). The coil spring (14) reduces the firing voltage required.

    摘要： A low-pressure discharge lamp is described having a base housing (10), a discharge vessel (2), whose end sections are fixed to an end section of the base housing, and a contact-making system for making electrical contact with the lamp, which is located on the end section of the base housing (10) which is remote from the discharge vessel, a conductive section (5) being provided, which is electrically connected to the contact-making system and is arranged adjacent to the discharge vessel (2) in the base housing (10) in such a way that an electrical short circuit is formed around the discharge vessel (2). This makes it possible to reduce the starting voltage of the lamp. As an alternative, or in addition, to this, the cross section of the web attachments is increased, which also increases the rate of the luminous-flux run-up.
