    摘要: To provide a socket for a halogen lamp, which allows easy attachment and removal operations, as well as enables stable contact between a lamp terminal and an external electrode terminal when the lamp is attached. The socket includes a first holder part having a first hole, a second holder part having a second hole, and a spring member accommodated at a position between the first hole and the second hole and having a third hole. The first hole, second hole, and third hole have a shape extending in a direction that is different from a direction in which the terminal is passed through. The terminal is turned after being passed through the holes, whereby the terminal moves inside the first hole, second hole, and third hole, and is fixed when the terminal reaches an outer edge portion of the third hole of the spring member.

    摘要: In accordance with an aspect of the invention, there is provided a thermal radiation marker (10) adapted to emit radiation within the thermal portion of the infrared spectrum. According to some embodiments of the invention, the thermal radiation marker may include an incandescent filament (16) and a glass or quartz enclosure (12). The incandescent filament may be adapted to produce radiation at least within the thermal portion of the infrared spectrum. The glass or quartz enclosure may include at least a portion that is substantially thin, and may enclose pressurized inert (14) gas and the incandescent filament surrounded by the inert gas. At least a portion of the glass or quartz enclosure may be sufficiently thin so as to enable good transmittance therethrough for tli3rmal radiation approximately in the 3-5&mgr,-m wavelength band. The pressurized inert gas enclosed within the glass or quartz enclosure and surrounding the incandescent filament may enable a regenerative cycle to take place within the enclosure.

    摘要: A lamp includes a light transmissive envelope comprising two spaced apart elliptical portions that together form a hollow interior. The envelope has sealed end portions. Leads are in electrical contact with the filament near the end portions of the envelope for providing power to the lamp. There is a central portion of the envelope that spaces apart the elliptical portions. An electrically conductive filament is disposed in the interior of the envelope. The filament includes coiled-coil portions disposed in the elliptical portions in a coiled-coil shape and a single coil interval portion disposed between the coiled-coil portions at the central portion of the envelope. At least one filament support positions the filament near a center of the envelope. Gas is contained in the interior of the envelope.

    摘要: An infrared emitter element includes: at last one emitter tube made of silica glass, which has two ends; at least one electrical conductor arranged in the emitter tube as a radiation source; a cooling tube made of silica glass, which surrounds the at least one emitter tube spaced therefrom and which is connected to the at least one emitter tube directly at its ends, such that in the region of the electrical conductor at least one flow-supporting channel is formed between the at least one emitter tube and the cooling tube; and a metallic reflector. The cooling tube is completely covered with the reflector on its side facing away from the emitter tube. The infrared emitter element may be used as a flow-through heater, such as a heat exchanger, especially for high-purity fluids.

    摘要: The present invention improves the luminous efficiency of lamps that emit light due to electric discharge, such as a fluorescent lamp and an HID lamp. The fluorescent lamp includes a glass tube used as a fluorescent tube made of a glass material containing an emissive element. When exposed to ultraviolet light (with the peak wavelength of 251 nm) emitted due to mercury excitation, the emissive element emits ultraviolet light having a longer wavelength than that. The HID lamp includes an envelop made of a glass material that contains an emissive element. When exposed to ultraviolet light emitted due to excitation of an emissive material enclosed in an arc tube, the emissive element emits ultraviolet light having a longer wavelength than that.
