    Abstract: In the present invention, when a user operation (shutter button depression) for instructing to start still image recording or a user operation (REC button depression) for instructing to start moving image recording is performed and detected at recording timing in interval shooting, a CPU records a still image or a moving image by an imaging section based on the user operation, without temporarily stopping the recording for the interval shooting. In addition, the CPU stores, in an external memory, a still image or a moving image recorded by the interval shooting and the still image or the moving image recorded by the detection of the user's instruction operation such that they can be managed to be usable as material for the interval shooting.

    Abstract: An imaging device includes a video acquisition unit, a tilt information acquisition unit, and an extraction period determination unit. The video acquisition unit obtains videos. The tilt information acquisition unit obtains information about shifts in posture, which are changes in angles of view or the like, during obtaining of the videos by the video acquisition unit. The extraction period determination unit determines periods to extract in the respective videos in accordance with the information obtained by the tilt information acquisition unit.

    Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present invention, an image processing apparatus includes a processor, and a computer-readable medium in which a computer program product is stored.     Abstract: An image processing device includes a memory storing a program, and at least one processor that executes the program. The processor sets an exposure condition for video imaging, acquires an image of the video imaged under the exposure condition, and calculates a brightness distribution from the image. The exposure condition includes a first exposure condition for causing the imaging device to capture an image using a first exposure value, and a second exposure condition causing the imaging device to capture an image using an exposure value higher than the first exposure condition and/or causing the imaging device to capture an image using a lower exposure value than the first exposure condition. The processor sets the first exposure condition or sets the first and the second exposure condition, based on the brightness distribution of the image captured under the first exposure condition after the first exposure condition is set.

    Abstract: In the present invention, in interval shooting, a CPU of an imaging apparatus controls to repeatedly record images sequentially captured by an imaging section as a moving image at predetermined timing. This CPU controls to select to record an image captured by the imaging section as a still image or to select to record images sequentially captured by the imaging section as a moving image, in accordance with the movement of the imaging apparatus based on a detection result of an acceleration sensor or the movement of a photographic subject from images captured by the imaging section or a detection result of an infrared sensor. That is, when there is a possibility of motion blur or camera shake, moving image capturing is switched to still image photographing and a still image is recorded.
