Abstract: A connector for exactly two conductors that includes a forward connector body, a rear connector body, a metal frame and exactly one pair of electrical contacts. The rear connector body interfaces with the forward connector body. The metal frame surrounds at least a portion of both the forward connector body and the rear connector body. The metal frame including a shielding interface, wherein the metal frame is secured to the forward connector body with at least two retaining features. The exactly one pair of electrical contacts comprises a first electrical contact and a second electrical contact that extend from the rear connector body into the forward connector body.

Abstract: An electrical plug connector terminates a twisted pair electrical cable. The electrical plug connector includes a base and a plug housing holding electrical contacts therebetween. The base includes a divider structure including separation walls. At least one of the separation walls defines an abutment surface against which a forward end of the electrical cable abuts when terminated by the electrical plug connector. The plug housing defines slots so that the electrical contacts are accessible. The electrical plug connector axially secures an outer jacket of the electrical cable against rearward movement relative to base. The at least one separation wall inhibits forward axial movement of the outer jacket of the electrical cable relative to the base.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for optically connecting circuit elements and optical fiber systems. In one embodiment, an optical waveguide module includes an optical light guide having opposite first and second planar surfaces extending between a first side edge and a second side edge. The optical light guide can be configured with a substrate supporting one or more optical pathways extending between the first and second side edges. The waveguide module can further include one or more first and second edge connectors, each of which has an adapter port and a first alignment slot opposite the adapter port. The alignment slots extend over the first and second planar surfaces at the first and second side edges to align the adapter ports with the one or more optical pathways in a first direction.

Abstract: A single pair Ethernet mount housing receives either a single pair Ethernet coupler or connector jack and is positioned within a mount opening of, for example, a faceplate or panel module. An interior interface feature removably retains the coupler or connector jack within a channel of the housing. An exterior interface feature removably retains the mount housing within the mount opening of the faceplate or panel module. The mount housing can be configured in an unshielded configuration (e.g., a plastic body) or a shielded configuration (e.g., a plastic body and a metal spring beam). The shielded configuration utilizes the metal spring beam to establish a bonding path between a shielded coupler or shielded connector jack and a shielded face plate or shielded panel module.

Abstract: A connector includes a forward connector body, a rear connector body that interfaces with the forward connector body and a metal frame positioned about the forward and rear connectors bodies. The rear connector body defines a central channel to receive a single pair of conductors. Each of a first and second side face of the rear connector body includes an elongate opening that extends through a front face of the rear connector body to provide access to an upward channel and a downward channel, respectively, of a contact receiving portion of the rear connector body. The metal frame includes a rearward portion and a forward portion. The rearward portion of the metal frame is positioned about the rear connector body as well as a rearward portion of the forward connector body while the forward portion of the metal frame is positioned about a forward portion of the forward connector body.

Abstract: A high density coupling panel of the present disclosure presents a compact grouping of coupler wherein each of the couplers couples a first free connector with a second free connector wherein each of the free connectors is coupled to exactly two electrical conductors. Abstract: A coupler couples a first connector with a second connector wherein each of the connectors is coupled to exactly two electrical conductors. Each coupler can be utilized in a shielded (e.g., metal) or non-shielded (e.g. non-metal) form as appropriate to a specific application. Each coupler includes exactly one pair of pin contacts, preferably with a square or rectangular cross- section. Each end of the pin contacts includes four tapered faces that join at a flattened apex and are configured to be received by the tuning fork contact of the connector. The pair of pin contacts are offset from one another and cross one another within the coupler to maintain electrical polarity as electricity travels from the tuning fork contacts of a first connector to the pin contacts of the coupler and onward to the tuning fork contacts of a second connector.
