Abstract:
A steering wheel control apparatus for controlling driving of a steering wheel of a vehicle includes a steering wheel drive section that drives the steering wheel in accordance with a target value, a shock probability determination section that determines whether the steering wheel may apply a physical shock to a vehicle driver, and a steering wheel driving restriction section that restricts driving of the steering wheel by the steering wheel drive section to reduce the shock applied to the vehicle driver when the shock probability determination section determines that the steering wheel may apply the shock to the vehicle driver.
Abstract:
An electric power steering system includes a basic assist amount calculation section calculating a basic assist amount for assisting the manipulation of a steering wheel, and an assist compensation amount calculation section calculating an assist compensation amount for correcting the basic assist amount. The system includes an assist amount correction section calculating a corrected assist amount by correcting the basic assist amount based on the assist compensation amount, and a motor drive section driving a motor using the corrected assist amount. The assist compensation amount calculation section uses a reverse input specification that more transmits the signal components of specific frequency in road-surface input torque, to a steering wheel than in the case of using only the basic assist amount, and calculates the assist compensation amount suitable for a vehicle-state value, such as a steering torque, to suppress variation in the transmission characteristics due to variation of the vehicle-state value.
Abstract:
A control device controls a motor which includes a first stator coil and a second stator coil insulated from each other. The control device includes: a first drive circuit that is connected to the first stator coil; a second drive circuit that is connected to the second stator coil; a first processing circuit; and a second processing circuit. The first processing circuit increases an output of an integral element according to the number of control systems when the second processing circuit performs a process of switching a first use and operation process to a second use and operation process.
Abstract:
Provided is a control apparatus for a vehicle configured to perform steering assist control and driving support control based on a motor control amount, the control apparatus being further configured to correct the motor control amount such that a specific steering amount in a second period becomes smaller than that in a first period, the specific steering amount being an amount of change in a steering angle required for a magnitude of a steering torque to reach a torque threshold, the first period being a period from a first time point at which a driving support operation state is changed to an on state to a second time point at which a driving operation switching request is issued, and the second period being a period from the second time point to a third time point at which the driving support operation state is changed to an off state.
Abstract:
A motor controller of a steering control apparatus is configured to drive, based on an assist command and a tracking command, a motor to thereby generate assist torque and automatic steering torque. A state determiner of the steering control apparatus is configured to determine at least whether a driver's steering state is a biased steering state or a return steering state in accordance with a first parameter associated with steering torque based on the driver's steering, and a second parameter associated with an angular velocity of the motor. A ratio changer of the steering control apparatus is configured to change a ratio of the assist torque to the automatic steering torque in accordance with a determination result of the state determiner.
Abstract:
A motor controller has an assist controller that generates an assist instruction AC to generate an assist torque for lightening a steering load based on a detected value of a steering torque, and a follow controller obtaining a target value of a physical quantity regarding a steering operation and generating a follow instruction TC of a follow control. Further, an intervention detector in the motor controller detects an intervention of a driver or of a system, and a restrictor restricts an internal value that is used by the assist controller or by the follow controller, so that a ratio of the assist torque against the automatic steering torque is changed, which makes it possible to switch a control to the driver or to a system without a causing a wrong feeling to the driver.

Abstract:
An electric power steering system for a vehicle works to determine an assist command based on steering torque to produce assist torque through an electric motor for assisting in turning a steering wheel of the vehicle, also determines a tracking command for producing automatic steering torque which brings a value of a given physical quantity associated with steering of the vehicle into agreement a target value, and calculates a steering correction command for use in producing a steering correction torque which reduces the steering torque which arises from output of the torque from the electric motor based on a transfer characteristic of transmission of the output of torque from the electric motor as a part of the steering torque. A motor driver works to actuate the electric motor based on sum of the assist command, the tracking command, and the steering correction command.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus installed in a vehicle includes a driving control section and a preparation control section. The driving control section executes automated driving of the vehicle. The preparation control section executes, when the automated driving is being executed by the driving control section, preparation control which is control that stops at least a part of the automated driving and makes the driver perform a preparation switching to driving by the driver of the vehicle.
