    Abstract: A sensor device includes: a detection device that detects a predetermined physical quantity and converts the physical quantity into a detection signal; a communication device that is to be connected to a controller through a first line and a second line, performs at least one of reception from the controller or transmission to the controller by a differential transmission method and, based on a request signal received from the controller, transmits the detection signal generated by the detection device; and a conductive shield member that is applied with a constant potential and covers the detection device and the communication device. The conductive shield member reduces radiation noise generation and simplifies the sensor device structure.

    Abstract: A head-up display includes a display unit displaying images in a display region defined on a vehicle windshield, a vehicle information acquisition unit acquiring vehicle information, a forward view information acquisition unit acquiring forward view information, a display object detection unit detecting a display object for which guidance information is required to be displayed in the display region, a display control unit, and a display form setting unit. The display control unit generates a guidance image indicating the guidance information of the detected display object and displays the generated guidance image over the display object in superimposed manner on the windshield. The display form setting unit calculates an annoyance value indicative of an annoyance level felt by a vehicle occupant when displaying the guidance image in superimposed manner, and sets a display form of the guidance image so that the calculated annoyance value is within a predetermined appropriate range.

    Abstract: An image synthesizer apparatus for vehicle includes an image generator and an error detector. From multiple cameras arranged to a vehicle so that an imaging region of each camera partially overlaps with an imaging region of an adjacent camera, the image generator acquires images of areas allocated to the respective cameras, and synthesizes the acquired images to generate a synthetic image around the vehicle viewed from a viewpoint above the vehicle. The error detector detects errors in the cameras. When the error detector detects a faulty camera in the cameras, the image generator acquires, from the image captured by the camera adjacent to the faulty camera, an overlap portion overlapping with the image captured by the faulty camera, uses the overlap portion to generate the synthetic image, and applies image reinforcement to the overlap portion.

    Abstract: In a head-up display, a cover member includes a first transmissive member and a second transmissive member that transmit a light beam including an image generated by an image generation unit. The first transmissive member is formed to face upward from a front end to a rear end. Likewise, the second transmissive member is formed to face upward from a front end to a rear end.     Abstract: In a pressure detecting device for a vehicle, a first detection member is fixed to a sensor housing such that a first surface of a first diaphragm faces a closed space of the vehicle and a first chamber isolated from the closed space is provided to face a second surface of the first diaphragm. A second detection member is fixed to the sensor housing such that a first surface of a second diaphragm faces the closed space, and a second chamber is provided to face a second surface of the second diaphragm. When the first diaphragm and the second diaphragm are deformed by the same amount and in the same direction, the first detection member and the second detection member output signals having the same value with opposite signs. The first surface of the first diaphragm and the first surface of the second diaphragm are covered with a protection member.

    Abstract: A pressure sensor includes a sensor housing mounted on a vehicle, a first detector located in the housing and having a first diaphragm facing a sealed space of the vehicle, a second detector located in the housing and having a second diaphragm facing the sealed space, and a protector located in the housing and covering the first and second detectors. A first chamber is formed between the first diaphragm and the housing and isolated from the sealed space so that the first diaphragm can be deformed by a pressure in the sealed space. A second chamber is formed between the second diaphragm and the sensor housing and communicates with the sealed space. The first and second diaphragms produce the same signal when being deformed by the same amount in the same direction.

    Abstract: A head-up display device displays a near virtual image and a far virtual image formed at different positions. The head-up display device includes an extension optical element, in addition to a first display surface that luminously displays a near display image and a second display surface that luminously displays a far display image. The extension optical element includes a reflective surface disposed on an optical path of light of the far display image. The extension optical element makes a far optical path distance of the far display image longer than a near optical path distance of the near display image by reflection of light by the reflective surface. The extension optical element has a transmission part that transmits light of the near display image in an area overlapping an optical path of light of the near display image.
