摘要: An integrated seal and diaphragm member for a pressure sensor assembly may include a diaphragm portion and a seal portion integral with the diaphragm portion. In some cases, the integrated seal and diaphragm member includes one or more retention features integral with the diaphragm portion and/or the seal portion. In some cases, the seal portion may be thicker than the diaphragm portion and may extend around the perimeter of the diaphragm portion. In some instances, the seal portion may be configured to deform to form a seal with a pressure port of an external component or device without causing the diaphragm portion to move toward the pressure port in any significant way.

A pressure sensor (100) according to the present invention includes: a pressure detection element (126) that detects the pressure of a fluid; a support member (125) that supports the pressure detection element (126); and an adhesive layer (125A) that is formed by coating an adhesive agent, and adheres and fixes the pressure detection element (126) and the support member (125), the pressure sensor being characterized in that the adhesive layer (125A) is configured from two layers, an initial curing layer (125A1) and a chip mount curing layer (125A2).

In one example implementation, a sensor device includes a header; one or more feedthrough pins extending through the header; and a sensor chip disposed on a support portion of the header. The sensor chip includes one or more contact pads. The sensor device further includes one or more wire bonded interconnections in electrical communication with the respective one or more contact pads and the respective one or more feedthrough pins. The sensor device includes a first sealed enclosure formed by at least a portion of the header. The first sealed enclosure is configured for enclosing and protecting at last the one or more wire bonded interconnections and the one or more contact pads from an external environment.

摘要: A pressure sensor assembly for use in sensing a pressure of a process fluid in a high temperature environment includes an elongate sensor housing configured to be exposed to the process fluid and having a cavity formed therein. A pressure sensor is positioned in the cavity of the elongate sensor housing. The pressure sensor has at least one diaphragm that deflects in response to applied pressure and includes an electrical component having an electrical property which changes as a function of deflection of the at least one diaphragm which is indicative of applied pressure. A flexible membrane in contact with the at least one diaphragm is disposed to seal at least a portion of the cavity of the sensor housing from the process fluid and flexes in response to pressure applied by the process fluid to thereby cause deflection of the at least one diaphragm.

An area of a pressing surface of the elastic pressing unit that faces the sensor element may be equal to or less than an area of a surface of the sensor element that faces the pressing surface.
