Abstract: In a control device applied to an insulated DC-DC converter including a transformer and drive switches connected to a input winding of the transformer, the control device operates the drive switches to control an output voltage output via the output winding to a target voltage. Furthermore, the control device includes a voltage acquiring unit acquiring the output voltage and a frequency setting unit setting a switching frequency for the drive switches based on the output voltage acquired by the voltage acquiring unit. The frequency setting unit sets, for the switching frequency, a value increasing with a value of the acquired output voltage, and sets the switching frequency such that an increase in the value of the output voltage increases a frequency increase rate corresponding to an amount of increase in the switching frequency per unit amount of increase in the output voltage.

Abstract: A control unit capable of accurately calculating a magnetization bias of a transformer is provided, thereby appropriately reducing the magnetization bias. The control unit acquires first and second currents that flow through a transformer during a period where either first or second switches individually turn ON. The control unit predicts an amount of magnetization bias in either positive side or negative side of the excitation current that flows through the transformer. The control unit reduces the magnetization bias of the transformer based on the predicted amount of magnetization bias.

Abstract: A control apparatus is provided which controls a power converter including a first circuit including first-side switching elements, and a second circuit including second-side switching elements and a choke coil. The control apparatus includes a current obtainment unit which obtains a value of current flowing through the choke coil, and a control unit which, when power is supplied from the second circuit to the first circuit, keeps a first-side switching element ON during a predetermined time period, before turning off at least one second-side switching element in an on state, the first-side switching element generating a reverse current in the second-side switching element to be turned off. The control unit performs control of keeping the first-side switching element ON during the predetermined time period and control of turning off the second-side switching element, on condition that the obtained value of the current is more than a predetermined command value.

Abstract: A controller includes first and second setting sections. The first setting section sets a first duty-cycle, which is a percentage of a switch-on time period of a drive switch in one switching-cycle, by peak current-mode control to control a reactor current to be a current-command value generated based on an AC-voltage value. The second setting section sets a second duty-cycle, which is the percentage of the switch-on time period of the drive switch in one switching-cycle, by average-current-mode control to control an average value of the reactor current to be the current-command value. The controller operates the drive switch at the first duty-cycle when an absolute value of the AC-voltage value is equal to or more than a threshold less than an amplitude of the AC-voltage value, and operates the drive switch at the second duty-cycle when the absolute value of the AC-voltage value is less than the threshold.

Abstract: A control unit determines a polarity of an actual voltage value of an AC power supply if it is either positive or negative based on a detection voltage thereof detected by the voltage detector. The control unit alternately actuates a set of a first switch and a fourth switch and another set of the second switch and a third switch each time when it is determined that the polarity of the actual voltage value of the AC power supply changes. A second reactor is disposed at at least one of first and second positions. The first position is located between a first AC side terminal and a connection point located between the first switch and the second switch. The second position is located between a second AC side terminal and a connection point located between the third switch and the fourth switch.

Abstract: In a control apparatus, a voltage obtainer obtains an alternating-current voltage having a polarity across first and second alternating-current terminals. An overcurrent determiner determines whether a target current flowing through the first and second alternating-current terminals is in an overcurrent state. A controller alternately turns on a first set of first and fourth switches and a second set of second and third switches in accordance with the polarity of the alternating-current voltage. The controller changes a switching operation of at least one of the first to fourth switch being in an on state to thereby reduce the target current flowing through the first and second alternating-current terminals upon determination that the target current flowing through the first and second alternating-current terminals is in the overcurrent state.

Abstract: A control device is applied to a power conversion system including a first DDC and a second DDC connected in parallel with a common power supply target. The control device performs the equalization control of correcting, with an output correction voltage, at least any of a voltage command value of the first DDC and a voltage command value of the second DDC to equalize an output current. Abstract: An electric power conversion device supplies electric power of a DC power source from an input part to an output part through a power conversion circuit having a transformer and switches. The transformer has primary and secondary coils magnetically connected. The device has a choke coil, an auxiliary coil and a control part. The auxiliary coil is connected to the output part and magnetically connected to the choke coil. The auxiliary coil is wound to allow a current to flow from a negative-electrode side to a positive-electrode side of the output part when a current flows from the power source to the choke coil. The control part performs a switching control of the switches to supply electric power of the source to the output part through the auxiliary coil to prevent generation of magnetic flux in the primary coil and the current from flowing in the secondary coil.
