摘要: Apparatus and methods for photographing marine organism specimens are disclosed, capable of easily and motionlessly fixing marine organism specimen even on a sailing ship by epochal improvement to the conventional equipment for photographing marine organism specimens. Diffused reflection does not occur during the photographing, and this facilitates lively and realistic photographing of the marine organism specimens. The apparatus generally comprises a support centrally defined by a round hole, a top-opened cylindrical Petri dish supported at a periphery of the hole of the support by a lower circumference for accommodating therein water and marine organism specimen(s), a top-opened cylindrical cover wherein a lower surface is inserted from an upper surface of the Petri dish and an external lateral surface contacts an inner lateral surface of the Petri dish, whereby surface of water accommodated into the Petri dish is pushed to fix the marine organism specimen, a lighting system irradiating light toward a lateral surface of the Petri dish, and a camera installed upward of the Petri dish.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a fast data call connection method capable of reducing a connection time and increasing the probability of connection success in a CDMA 2000 network. In the fast data call connection method of the present invention, the PDSN transmits a data call connection request message, including an authentication type and a challenge value, to the MS. The MS transmits a data call connection response message, including a response to the challenge value, to the PDSN. The PDSN performs authentication with reference to the data call connection response message, and transmits a data call connection complete message to the MS if authentication succeeds. Accordingly, the present invention is advantageous in that it can reduce connection time, can increase the probability of connection success, and can guarantee compatibility by checking the MS version before a data call connection process is executed.

摘要: A biologic ventricular assist device that also has the capability to capture, grow, and administer stem cells to regenerate and restore damaged myocardium in the heart. The device works in conjunction with a traditional ventricular assist device and possesses an additional external path or tube that is in-line with the path of the ventricular assist device. The external path allows for the administration of stem cells, genes, genetically modified cells or other therapeutic biologic or pharmacologic agents, as well as leading to a stem cell collecting accessory (14) that captures circulating stem cells. The stem cell collecting accessory is also associated with a chamber (39) for culturing the captured stem cells. The cultured stem cells can be delivered back to the heart by an electro-mechanical or ultrasound/echocardiographic delivery system that runs through the external path back into the ventricular assist device and allows for the delivery of the stem cells, or other therapeutic biologic or pharmacologic agents, directly into the internal chambers of the heart. Administering the stem cells, genes, genetically modified cells or other therapeutic biologic or pharmacologic agents, either alone or in combination, to the heart allows the myocardium to regenerate and repair itself even while the heart is attached to the ventricular assist device, ultimately allowing the heart to regenerate, recover and allow the VAD to be removed.

摘要: Electronic devices are provided with ejectable component assemblies that can be substantially flush with the external surfaces of the housings of the devices, despite variations in their manufacture. The ejectable component assemblies may include connectors coupled to circuit boards of the devices, and trays that can be loaded with removable modules, inserted through openings in the housings of the devices, and into the connectors for functionally aligning the removable modules with the circuit boards. The ejectable component assemblies may also include ejectors coupled to the housings of the devices for ejecting the trays from the connectors and, thus, from the devices themselves.

摘要: A heat exchanger for common use for both a boiler and a hot water supply is provided, which includes a plurality of inner plate members (110) having inner plate member grooves formed on either side of the upper end thereof, and a burner provided on the bottom surface thereof, to thereby perform a combustion chamber function; combustion heat fin tubes (120) formed of a number of heat exchange tubes on the outer circumferential surface of which transfer heat fins are formed; an insulation member (130) which is installed in an identical area along the inner walls of the inner plate members; and an independent heat exchanger body which is connected with the combustion heat fin tubes. Thus, a heat exchanger for a condensing or noncondensing gas boiler can be manufactured at low cost, through the common heat exchanger Further, two kinds of heat exchangers can be manufactured through a single common heat exchanger to thereby make an additional process unnecessary.

摘要: A washing machine having a drying device for generating an air current to dry laundry, includes a drum forming a washing space; a first temperature sensor for sensing the temperature of washing water; a second temperature sensor for sensing the temperature in the drum; and a controller for determining whether or not a washing condition for washing delicate fabrics is satisfied based on the temperature in the drum and the temperature of the washing water, and controlling the drying device, when it is determined that the washing condition is not satisfied, so that a washing operation of the delicate fabrics is performed after the washing condition is satisfied. The washing machine ensures the washing condition suitable to wash the delicate fabrics even when the temperature in the drum is elevated due to the earlier washing operation, and then performs the washing operation of the delicate fabrics, thereby preventing damage to the delicate fabrics due to shrinkage and deformation.
