    摘要： A network appliance is described that can provide a variety of software services, including both platform services, such as access method services, and a load balancing service. A network may include a network appliance that both provides one or more platform services and acts as a load balancer. When two or more such appliances are used together, they can replace a substantial portion of a conventional network. For example, when a network appliance receives a client communication, its load balancer service can determine whether one of its own platform services will process the communication or forward the communication to another network appliance for processing. Moreover, if the load balancing service of a network appliance fails, another network appliance can provide load balancing. Similarly, if another service of a network appliance fails, then the network appliance may continue to provide load balancing but forward communications requiring the failed service to another network appliance for processing.

    摘要： Control apparatus for a drive transmission such as the hydraulic drive transmission of a fork lift truck is provided in which an electrical signal is developed having a frequency representative of the rate of rotation of the drive shaft of the transmission. A first switching circuit is controlled in response to the said signal so as to remain in one state thereof during each cycle of the said signal when the duration of the cycle is less than a predetermined duration, and to be settable in another state thereof by actuation of a manually operable direction switch, serving as a forward-reverse drive selector lever, when the duration of the said cycle is greater than the said predetermined duration. A second switching circuit is so controlled in response to the said signal as to be set into one state thereof in response to a cycle of the said signal when the duration of the said cycle falls below a second predetermined duration, and to be set into another state thereof when the duration of the said cycle increases to exceed a third predetermined duration. The second switching circuit effects energization of a low gear ratio electrical actuator or a high gear ratio electrical actuator respectively depending upon which one of the said two states of the second switching means prevails.

    摘要： A faucet including a spout body formed of metal and having an inlet end, an outlet end and a chamber extending between inlet and outlet ends. A tube formed of a non-metallic material is enclosed within the chamber and has receiving and dispensing ends. Tube defines a passage extending between receiving and dispensing ends. Receiving end is in fluid communication with water source to communicate water through passage. An inlet coupling formed of a non-metallic material and having an inlet opening extending therethrough is molded about receiving end such that receiving end is sealingly received within inlet opening. An outlet coupling formed of a non-metallic material and having an outlet opening extending therethrough is molded about dispensing end such that dispensing end is sealingly received within outlet opening. Inlet and outlet couplings are sealingly coupled to inlet and outlet ends of spout body, respectively.
