    摘要: A method of recording a color image in such a manner that two toner images of different colors are formed on the basis of video signals supplied from an information processor for producing different colors, and the toner images are transferred to a sheet of recording paper so that the toner images overlap each other, is disclosed, in which method video signal portions for forming contiguous toner images of different colors at a recording position are extracted from the video signals, and one of the video signal portions is extended so that the toner image based upon the video signal portion is enlarged in the direction of the boundary between the contiguous toner images based upon the video signal portions, to prevent a gap having the ground color of the recording paper from generating between the contiguous toner images even when one of the contiguous toner images is spaced apart from the other toner image.

    摘要: Each of color toner images is formed on a photo-sensitive drum using a plural development units. An exposure process and a development process for a color image information are carried out repeatedly corresponding to a respective hue of the image information. The toner images of n colors are transferred to the drum by contacting a recording paper to the drum. A record mode is selected in accordance with a length in a peripheral direction of the drum of the image information against a peripheral length of the drum. When the length of the image information is longer than the peripheral length of the drum, N times transfer processes are selected as the record mode. Then the length of the image information is divided into N areas. The image information of n colors existing in every divided area is formed dividedly on the drum. The color image is recorded on a full length of the paper. Besides, when the length of the image information is shorter than the peripheral length of the drum, one time transfer process is selected as the record mode.

    摘要: A color printer has means for setting toner image forming areas in the paper sheet convey direction in respect of respective colors, means for detecting a reference position on a photosensitive belt, and image formation start position setting means responsive to the reference position to set a toner image (electrostatic latent image) formation start position in the rotation direction of the photosensitive belt. When the paper sheet length is longer than the outer peripheral length of an intermediate transfer member, the image formation start position setting means sets, for colors other than the final color, a printing area which is shorter than the outer peripheral length of the intermediate transfer member and sets, for the final color, a printing area which begins immediately after a seam position of the photosensitive belt and conforms to the paper sheet length. Through the above setting, when toner images of two colors are superposed to print a color image, the printing area of the final color can be set to a desired range in the paper sheet length direction regardless of the outer peripheral length of the intermediate transfer member, thereby improving the printing speed and preventing degradation of quality.

    摘要: Disclosed is an exposure amount control device for a copying machine comprising an exposure amount control circuit for controlling an exposure amount by controlling light of the exposure lamp for illuminating an original document to be copied and a digital light control signal generator for supplying a digital light control signal of a variable duty factor to the exposure amount control circuit. The digital light control signal generator includes a light intensity increase/decrease setting circuit and an oscillator for generating an oscillation output of a variable oscillation period in accordance with a light intensity signal from the light intensity increase/decrease setting circuit. The oscillation output of the oscillator is converted to an on-off light signal, which is supplied to the exposure amount control circuit as the digital light control signal. Thus, the digital light control signal generator is perfectly electrically isolated from a primary power supply circuit of the exposure amount control circuit and a highly safe exposure amount control device with a stable control ability due to an on-off light signal is provided.
