摘要： An exhaust system of an internal-combustion engine (1) having an exhaust gas purification arrangement (3, 5) as well as a storage container (8) which can be evacuated and into which at least a portion of the internal-combustion engine exhaust gas flow can be introduced for a defined time period, particularly after a start of the internal-combustion engine. In addition to a stop valve (10), which maintains the vacuum in the storage container when the internal-combustion engine is stopped, a vacuum pump (18) is provided for evacuating the storage container. A stop flap (6) is provided in the exhaust system downstream of the exhaust gas purification arrangement. In a branch pipe (7) guiding the internal-combustion engine exhaust gas flow to the storage container (8), a control valve (9) may be provided for controlling the flow of exhaust gas to the storage container. In addition, the exhaust system may have a double-walled construction in areas, so that two essentially coaxially extending exhaust pipes exist, in which by way of the first, preferably interior exhaust pipe, the exhaust gas is guided away from the internal-combustion engine and, by way of the second, preferably exterior exhaust pipe, the exhaust gas is guided to the storage container.

摘要： A plug connection for connecting a light waveguide to a plug has a plug member with a connecting light waveguide extending from one side thereof having an end being spliced to a light waveguide of a light waveguide cable and at least one strain relief element being passed over the splice and connected to the plug member. The method of forming the plug connection includes providing a sufficient length of both the connecting light waveguide extending from the plug member and the light waveguide of the cable so that a connection in a normal, known splicing apparatus can be obtained outside of the position of the plug member and then conducting the strain relief element over the splice region and connecting it to the plug member.

摘要： The two cylinder groups of an internal-combustion engine each have a separate exhaust gas catalyst. When one of these cylinder groups is shut off by preventing the supply of fuel, it is possible that the assigned exhaust gas catalyst may be cooled below its operating temperature. In order to avoid this, the whole exhaust gas system is constructed in such a manner that the gases emitted from the shut-off cylinder group are heated by the exhaust gases of the continuously fired cylinder group.

Closure beads are arranged around and along the parting plane of the housing. The closure beads are held by at least one U-shaped closing rail but preferably by two U-shaped closing rails. A plurality of longitudinal beads are wedge-shaped and undercut, whereas a plurality of end face closure beads are trapezoid-shaped.
