摘要: An EGR pump system includes an EGR pump assembly including an electric motor assembly coupled to a transmission assembly. A roots device is coupled to the electric motor through the transmission assembly. The roots device includes a housing defining an internal volume and rotors are disposed in the internal volume and connected to the transmission assembly. An EGR locking mechanism is attached to the EGR pump assembly. The EGR locking mechanism is selectively connected to the transmission assembly locking the transmission assembly and preventing rotation of the rotors.

摘要: Disclosed are two system devices for stratified injecting the recirculated exhaust gas and high-specific-heat-capacity or inert gas for clean combustion of an internal combustion engine. The former is composed of an exhaust gas recirculation system, an injection system, and a power system. The latter is composed of four parts, and a high-specific-heat-capacity gas or inert gas channel is added. Injectors can be arranged at any position in the cylinder between a top dead center and a bottom dead center of a piston in a cylinder; 1-3 layers of injectors can be arranged; and 2-6 injectors can be arranged on each layer. Gas participating in combustion enters the cylinder from two intake channels, namely, a scavenging port of the internal combustion engine and the injectors; an in-cylinder swirl ratio can be remarkably increased through kinetic energy carried by the gas; and fuel-gas mixing is promoted, and the combustion rate is increased.

摘要: An exhaust system includes a supercharger, a first communication path, a negative pressure generator, and an exhaust sensor. The supercharger includes a turbine and compressor. The turbine is provided in an exhaust pipe of an engine. The compressor is provided in an intake pipe and coupled to the turbine by a shaft. The supercharger supercharges intake air using energy of exhaust air. The first communication path communicates with the exhaust pipe on a downstream side of the turbine and communicates with the intake pipe on an upstream side of the compressor. The exhaust pipe and the intake pipe communicate through the first communication path. The negative pressure generator is interposed in the first communication path and generates a negative pressure. The exhaust sensor is provided in the first communication path between a location where the first communication path is coupled to the exhaust pipe and the negative pressure generator.

摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus for reducing greenhouse gas emission in a vessel cooperated with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), and a vessel including the same, in which NOX generation is reduced, which is the original purpose of EGR, while maintaining existing EGR, SOX as well as CO2, which is the representative greenhouse gas, are absorbed and converted into materials that do not affect environments, and the materials are discharged or stored as useful materials, thereby preventing corrosion of an engine and improving combustion efficiency.

摘要: An exhaust gas recirculation pump system for an internal combustion engine includes an EGR gas source and an electric motor assembly. A roots device is coupled to the electric motor. The roots device includes a housing defining an internal volume wherein the housing includes a radial inlet port receiving the EGR gas source and an outlet port expelling the EGR gas from the housing. Rotors are disposed in the internal volume and connected to the electric motor. A transmission housing is attached to the housing. The transmission housing includes journals formed therein receiving bearings that support the rotors on only a single end of the rotors.

摘要: An internal combustion engine system, including an internal combustion engine (ICE), an exhaust aftertreatment system (EATS) located downstream of said ICE. An exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) pump arranged in an exhaust gas recirculation duct extending between the ICE and EATS, wherein the ICE system has a normal operation mode for transporting, by means of the EGR pump, at least a portion of said exhaust gas to upstream of the ICE. The ICE system further includes a heating device arranged upstream of at least one exhaust aftertreatment devices of said EATS and the ICE system has a pre-heat operation mode for transporting, by means of the EGR pump, exhaust gas and/or air through said heating device and then to said at least one of said exhaust aftertreatment devices.

摘要: A gas flow control system is provided for at least one cylinder of an internal combustion of a motor vehicle. The gas flow control system includes a supply passage configured to supply gas to the cylinder and an exhaust gas passage configured to remove gas from the cylinder. A bypass passage is configured to connect the supply passage and exhaust gas passage, and a fluid control switch is selectively operable to supply gas out of the exhaust gas passage through the bypass passage into the supply passage in an exhaust gas return operating mode, and to supply gas out of the supply passage through the bypass passage into the exhaust gas passage in a post-air operating mode.

摘要: Embodiments of an internal combustion engine are provided. In one example, an engine includes at least one cylinder, an intake system for supplying charge air to the at least one cylinder, an exhaust-gas discharge system for discharging exhaust gas from the at least one cylinder, a first exhaust-gas turbocharger including a first turbine arranged in the exhaust-gas discharge system and a first compressor arranged in the intake system; and an exhaust-gas recirculation (EGR) system. The EGR system includes a line which branches off from the exhaust-gas discharge system and opens into the intake system, a second exhaust-gas turbocharger comprising an EGR turbine arranged in the line on a shaft and an EGR compressor arranged in the line on the shaft upstream of said EGR turbine, and an EGR cooler positioned between the EGR turbine and the EGR compressor.

摘要: A method includes controlling an engine speed based on: intake manifold air temperature and/or intake manifold pressure one, or more, of the following data parameters: an engine load as a function of a fuel level, a fuel injecting timing, an intake oxygen concentration, a constituent concentration from the exhaust gas flow, an engine power, and an engine torque. The method also recirculates a portion of the exhaust gas flow to the combustion cylinders of the engine via a recirculation channel, as a function of intake manifold temperature and/or intake manifold pressure at which the engine is operated. An engine system, other methods, and a non-transitory computer readable medium encoded with a program, to enable a processor-based control unit to control aspects of the engine are also disclosed.
