Abstract:
An apparatus for separating and storing liquid refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit including a housing configured as a refrigerant collection container, the housing having a refrigerant outflow line disposed therein. The refrigerant outflow line extending from an inlet opening, which is disposed in a gas refrigerant region and above a level of the liquid refrigerant, via a liquid refrigerant region to the outside, and has a through-opening formed in the liquid refrigerant region. The housing includes a boiling element for liquid refrigerant disposed therein. The boiling element is connected to the refrigerant outflow line in the region of the through-opening, such that a liquid passing through the through-opening from the housing passes through the boiling element by suction of a gas refrigerant.
Abstract:
An air conditioning system for a motor vehicle operable in refrigeration mode and in heat pump mode, as well as in reheating mode. The operating mode adjusted by controlling air dampers and air directing elements. The air conditioning system has a housing having a cold air flow path a warm air flow path, and an air outlet. The air outlet formed in the region of the cold air flow path and discharging air into the environment. The warm air flow path branches off from the cold air flow path. The cold air flow path and the warm air flow path lead into a first mixing chamber. The air conditioning system further includes a refrigerant circuit having a heat exchanger operable as an evaporator, a compressor, a heat exchanger operable as a first condenser/gas cooler, a heat exchanger operable as a second condenser/gas cooler, and an expansion element.
Abstract:
Vehicle climate control system and method for control of the vehicle climate control system for temperature regulation of a vehicle battery, the vehicle climate control system includes a refrigerant circuit containing at least a compressor, a gas cooler/condenser, an expansion element, an evaporator, as well as refrigerant lines to connect the components, wherein an intermediate expansion element is arranged upstream from the expansion element in the refrigerant flow direction and a heat exchanger for the temperature regulation of a vehicle battery is arranged between the expansion elements.
Abstract:
An air conditioning system for conditioning air of a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. The air conditioning system operable in a cooling mode, a heat pump mode, and a reheating mode, the system includes an enclosure with a first flow channel and a second flow channel conducting air, and a refrigerant circulation system with a heat exchanger operable as an evaporator independent of the operating mode and a heat exchanger operable as a condenser independent of the operating mode. Both heat exchangers are located inside the enclosure. The refrigerant circulation system also includes a heat exchanger outside of the enclosure and inside the refrigerant path, an expansion element upstream from the evaporator in the flow direction of the refrigerant, and a bypass parallel to the refrigerant path to channel the refrigerant around the heat exchanger as needed.
Abstract:
A heat-exchanger including a device for separating oil from a coolant-oil mixture and cooling the oil and cooling and/or liquefying the coolant. The heat exchanger features a first area cooling and/or liquefying the coolant, and a second area cooling the oil. The heat exchanger further features at least two manifolds. The first area of the heat exchanger features flow channels guiding the coolant, and the second area of the heat exchanger features flow channels guiding the oil. The flow channels extend between the manifolds. Each of the flow channels has a respective outside flooded by a heat-absorbing fluid.
Abstract:
An air-conditioning system for conditioning air in a vehicle passenger compartment is configured to operate in a cooling system mode for cooling air to be supplied to the passenger compartment and in a heat pump mode for heating the same, and to operate in a reheating mode. The air-conditioning system includes a housing having a first flow channel and a second flow channel for guiding air to an air distribution system having discharge ports communicating with the passenger compartment, and a refrigerant circulation system having at least two heat exchangers. In this case, the first heat exchanger that operates as an evaporator regardless of operating modes is disposed in the first flow channel, and the second heat exchanger that operates as a condenser/gas cooler regardless of operating modes is disposed in the second flow channel.
