    Abstract: Systems and methods for debriefing an offboard pilot by enabling a dynamic priority filter to identify relevant voice communications recorded by a playback system in conversations between air traffic control and a pilot by transcribing, the conversations recorded by the playback system, for processing; identifying text content transcribed in the conversations using a speech engine for analysis of the text content for filtering into a set of multiple levels wherein each level contains a set of text messages; tagging at least one text message associated with context with a contextual tag to identify a category in-flight events with the at least one text message; assigning a priority to the at least one tagged text message to generate at least one set of priority tagged messages; enabling the offboard pilot to select based on a category and priority a set of tagged messages; and displaying the set of tagged messages.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for indicating wake turbulence on an avionic display. The system comprises a display device that is onboard an aircraft and a controller in communication with the display device. The controller configured to, by a processor: receive data that includes information relating to a wake turbulence generated by another aircraft, determine a location on a runway of the wake turbulence based on the received data, and render a visual element on a display device onboard the aircraft that is in communication with the controller that is configured to display information relating the determined location on the runway of the wake turbulence, wherein the information is displayed in relation to a takeoff environment of the aircraft.

    Abstract: A system for predicting the timing for ownship clearance instructions is provided. The system is configured to: collect communications between air traffic control (ATC) and other aerial vehicles; group the collected communications; derive an average time between successive instructions from ATC to an aerial vehicle; derive an average time for a following instruction in a specific time interval; generate a clearance instruction prediction model that is configured to predict a time by which an ownship will receive a subsequence clearance instruction, based on the average time between successive instructions from ATC to an aerial vehicle, the average time for a following instruction in a specific time interval, and the clearances provided by ATC to other aerial vehicles; predict, using the clearance instruction prediction model, an expected time for a next clearance instruction from ATC; and cause the predicted time for the next clearance instruction to be displayed on a display device.

    Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for assisting operation of a vehicle using speech recognition and transcription to provide a conversation log graphical user interface (GUI) display that consolidates communications with respect to the vehicle. One method involves receiving a data message from a system onboard the vehicle and generating a graphical representation of the data message within the conversation log GUI display, wherein the graphical representation of the data message includes a selectable element and is displayed on the conversation log GUI display concurrently with a graphical representation of a transcription of an audio communication with respect to the vehicle. The depicted data message and transcription are chronologically positioned with respect to one another in accordance with a timestamp associated with the data message. The conversation log GUI display dynamically updates in response to selection of the selectable element.

    Abstract: In some examples, a collision awareness system includes a receiver configured to receive a first clearance for a first vehicle, receive a first image of the first vehicle, and receive a second clearance for a second vehicle. The collision awareness system also includes processing circuitry configured to determine that the first vehicle is positioned incorrectly based on the first clearance and the first image. The processing circuitry is also configured to generate an alert based on the second clearance and in response to determining that the first vehicle is positioned incorrectly.

    Abstract: A flight deck system includes a cockpit display device on which an airport display is displayed and a controller. The controller is configured to generate a runway condition graphic having at least three different segments to be overlaid over or positioned adjacent to a depiction of a runway on the airport display, wherein each segment of the runway condition graphic is associated with a different segment of the runway and configured to provide a graphical indication of a contaminant condition for the associated segment. The controller is further configured to categorize the contaminant condition of each segment of the runway; visually code each segment of the runway condition graphic in a manner that is representative of the contaminant condition category for its associated segment of the runway; and cause the generated runway condition graphic to be overlaid over or positioned adjacent to the depiction of the runway on the airport display.

    Abstract: Computer-implemented methods for validating a real-time condition of a landing field using aircraft data. One method comprises identifying a plurality of segments of the runway based on a configurable parameter; receiving input data of at least one of a reported runway condition code and a reported braking action of a recently landed aircraft; receiving actual data of an actual runway deceleration profile from the recently landed aircraft for each identified segment of the runway; creating expected data of an expected runway deceleration profile based on the received input data and the received actual data; comparing the received actual data with the created expected data to validate and/or reassess the input data; and transmitting the validated and/or reassessed data to at least one of other approaching aircraft and an airport controller.

    Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for automatically adjusting aircraft performance parameters for use on an airdrop. The method comprises establishing and transmitting initial dimensions for a drop zone from a ground element to a flight management system (FMS) of an in-flight cargo aircraft via a secure data link. The ground element continually monitors ground-based parameters affecting the dimensions of the drop zone and transmits changes to the parameters to the FMS via the secure data link. The FMS adjusts a computed air release point (CARP) for the airdrop and continually updates flight performance parameters for the in-flight cargo aircraft based on the changes to the ground-based parameters.
